Killing Faith (2025) Official Trailer Synopsis

This gripping thriller, Killing Faith, directed by Ned Crowley, plunges viewers into the tumultuous summer of 1859. Starring acclaimed actor Guy Pearce, the film follows a widowed physician who finds himself reluctantly embroiled in an extraordinary and perilous journey. When a recently freed slave and her enigmatic Caucasian daughter seek his help, he is drawn into a five-day odyssey through the treacherous landscapes of the bloody West. The child, cloaked in mystery, is believed by her mother to be possessed, while the doctor is convinced she simply harbors a deadly affliction known as “The Sickness.” As they traverse the rugged terrain to seek out a distant Faith Healer, unsettling events unfold; every living thing the girl touches inexplicably dies.

Killing Faith promises an intense exploration of faith, fear, and the ties that bind us to each other amidst chaos. With a haunting atmosphere and a stellar cast, including DeWanda Wise and Bill Pullman, this film is set to leave audiences on the edge of their seats when it hits cinemas on October 3, 2025.
