Title: Let’s Talk About What Happened: I Got Scammed
In this heartfelt and revealing video, our host opens up about a painful experience that hit him hard—he was scammed. As he hosts a live session, he invites viewers to share their locations, demonstrating the global community of support that surrounds him.
The conversation quickly shifts to the subject at hand: the elaborate scam that shook him to his core, debunking the misconception that he was duped by a “Nigerian prince.” He emphasizes that the scam was orchestrated by an American whom he initially trusted, leading to a series of manipulative interactions.
After 20 years in the YouTube game, dedicating his life to creating content and helping others, he shares the journey that led him to this unfortunate situation. The scam began with a seemingly legitimate business plan involving properties and investments, spiraling into a nightmare where he lost a staggering $275,000.
Throughout the video, he acknowledges his mistakes and the red flags he chose to ignore, hoping that his experience will serve as a cautionary tale for others. He also expresses his gratitude for the overwhelming support he’s received from viewers, pledging to use this moment not just to vent but to prevent others from falling victim to similar scams.
As the livestream progresses, he demonstrates his resilience, even announcing the decision to disable his channel’s membership and super chat options, prioritizing his community’s financial well-being over personal gain.
Join him as he opens the floor for questions and shares insights into the lessons learned, turning a painful chapter into a powerful message of caution, community, and commitment to a better future.

Stop apologizing David! You are helping us. It’s ok hun 😢you’re human.
I feel for you bro because I was scammed also.im still trying to get my $$ back
I’m so sorry
Thanks!
Karma leaves no one David so don't worry u have us as ur intangible asset which no one can scam
Sorry to hear that bro…it's creepy out there…be vigilant. Stay blessed 🙏
Stop fucking apologising for countries that are KNOWN to scam people. My man here just lost 275k and he’s sat here apologising in case he ‘offends’ someone. WTF IS THIS WORLD! Bro, put £10k down, find out who it was and yeah, you know the rest. KARMA
Telling people your story and then telling them you don’t want their money is a little arrogant. You should be grateful that people care enough to want to give. Even if you just take the funds and pay it forward.
Please don't be embarrassed David–it happens to the best of us. I was almost scammed by scammers right here in the USA. Thank God I caught on and I stop the transaction right away.
David is wish you luck and I will be praying for you 🙏 eventually you will get back your money it might take time but by the time you now it it will come back to you.😊
Hi David so sorry for you 😢 my father got scammed too he got over it now an the sad pat is he still does want to try it again 😅😅😂 anyhow lots of love from 🇹🇹 ❤
Who the f deposits $300k to the lender to receive a loan?! And then you take a loan to receive a loan! Don't you do any due diligence? What kind of business are you running?

Hay bro
Hay bro I was scammed in guyana living in Minnesota usa.
Your case was sad bro
But I went through the same thing.
🇹🇹🥰
dave i feel u. dont feel bad, scammers scam people because theyre that good at it. i was scammed by a friend i knew for 20 years and he was able to do because like u,i chose to believe the good in him because he was my best friend. biggest warning sign is besides asking for money up front, they tell u everything u want to hear, act like theyre helping u and when they know u are truly broke, u get ghosted and often u cant report them because the deal form start was not completely legit, often organized crime behaves as if theyre legit, thats their strength. no lawyers, no financial advisors involved nothing and if there are theyre also bogus. u dont need advice from a random viewer i know but my advice is make your videos again and be careful with these people. if theyre that cunning and heartless they are probably dangerous too
You didn't address the elephant in the room. How much money did they promise to invest? And what was the money for?
🇸🇪❤
I'm 14 minutes in and trying to figure out what the scam was?
Sorry to hear that you got scammed.
You mentioned that you don't want to be making Travel videos forever.
1. You can use your brand to create a production company.
Create a YouTube channel where you have other people making videos as well.
And then you get a percentage of the revenue from those videos.
This way, you can continue to make money even though you are not working.
2. Instead of traveling all over the world, maybe you can change it to where you only make videos in your current city, or maybe cities near by. That way, you will be able to go back home to your family every night.
Have other people working for you that will travel the world to make videos.
Diversify your YouTube channel. Create a Production Company like Mr. Beast.
3. Maybe you can use your network to make videos with other people within your city.
Like working with different Chefs to make Cooking videos.
Or interview different people in your industry in your city.
Find other ways to make money with YouTube where you aren't the only Face of the channel.
Good luck with everything!

Don't give up your patron David… your supporters love u. Those funds can help u rebuild. Im so sorry about all that u r going through. Your compassion for the people of Jamaica 🇯🇲❤️was what drew me to your channel. U will be multiplied 100x what u lost in Jesus's name because u have a heart for the people. The last vlog when the lady hug u in the craft market i cried because i felt how grateful my people r for your videos, i felt the love. The money they stole from u will only lead to their distruction but u will come back from this multiplied in greatness. I can't imagine what u r going through but im praying for you. 🙏🏽😔
This is very disheartening to hear. Please be careful and anything to good to be true is probably not.
So sorry that this happened to you, just pick up the pieces and move on with your life. The scammers must be watching this I dont know how they can sleep at nights knowing they are destroying good people's life and I am pretty sure you are not the only person they scammed.
Good here in Fort Myers, Florida!🙏🏽💕
You name checked Guyana and Nigeria in your scam story. Now the truth comes out, and it has nothing to do with these countries. The scammers were in the USA and the UAE, which you knew at the time you recorded the video. Why did you lie to your audience? Why did you disparage Guyana and Nigeria? Is this for clout to gain views by manipulating the YouTube algorithm?
Stay strong bro
I did mention you yesterday, I am sorry about your appointments, I no about this situation, my old friend was hacked/ scam, I am calling from USA.
You have an unbelievable gift David. Trust in the Lord and stay strong brother you will get it all back plus one hundred fold!
Scams are ever evolving, and more often than not, they will be packaged/guised as some foolproof investment with some legit reviews to satisfy any checks an unsuspecting investor makes. Obviously, a Nigerian prince scam will raise suspicions from way off.
the friend who introduced you to the scammers what did they do or say
So many people have been scammed I’m so sorry this has happened to you
