Our long-term testing with the 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid continues to impress us as we hit the 17,000-mile mark. The sleek design of the Accord still turns heads, with its low-slung roofline and down-to-earth seating position adding to its appeal.
Adding another 2,000 miles since our last update, we have noticed a slight dip in fuel economy due to colder weather, but the Accord still maintains an impressive 44.2 mpg, right in line with its Combined rating. On the highway, the Accord excels as a smooth and solid cruiser, effortlessly handling crosswinds and offering a comfortable ride for long distances. Plus, the over 500-mile range between fill-ups is a definite bonus.
While the 2.0-liter I4 hybrid engine may not make it a “performance hybrid,” it offers plenty of power for highway merging and passing. The Google-based infotainment system has been a hit with our drivers, with any early connectivity issues we experienced with Apple CarPlay now resolved.
Overall, the 2024 Honda Accord Hybrid continues to impress with its efficiency, comfort, and performance, making it a great choice for those seeking a reliable and stylish hybrid sedan.
