Hello 👋 👋👋❤️❤️❤️
Can't belive I have to say this. But I've eaten a puffer fish once…. AND HELL YEAH it was delicious.
My friend (who is a fisherman) actually served me a "ginataang butete" that we caught. I don't how tf did he cleaned the fish, because I was really cautious about his preparations and cleaning method (add to the fact that I don't even know if he knows how to prepare and cook puffer fish). But the fish is actually in fact delicious and it was the first time and the only last time I ate puffer fish. He still won't tell me how he did it.
12:05 The dude at the back just unlocked ragdoll mode 😂
You should go and do a food tour video with DancingBacons, that would be a fun little video. I'm pretty sure they are from this area of Asia.
Thank you Sonny for visiting Sabah! Land below the wind 🌬️🌬️
Ajinomoto is MSG.
Welcome to Sabah! 🥳🥳🥳

How are they getting away with not only eating but cooking the liver? Cooking it possibly increases the TTX

Me patiently waiting for Sonny to come to Sarawak. 🎉
Fun fact: most of the Malaysian Chinese diaspora in Borneo (Sarawak and Sabah) emigrated from different parts of China compared to Peninsula/West Malaysian Chinese.
East Malaysian Chinese often don't speak Cantonese. This is very different from Peninsula/West Malaysian Chinese where speaking Cantonese at home is very normal
Sonny come down to Sarawak and try kolok noodle or kampua noodle!
In Borneo, they called it Bosu.. we have almost the same version also in the Philippines.. Its Called Buro
Hey Sonny I'm with you my guy
meet up with @Mark Weins, he seems to be in Malaysia right now as well
You'll know if a puffer fish is poisonous if the teeth have a gap.
The sticky rice looks a bit odd, it seems softer and mushier than it normally is.
Am waiting to see sonny going to Tanzania and meeting with the hadzabe people for sure it would be the best episode meeting with chabba 😂😂😂
Sick bandana, bro.
Is it poisonous or venomous that you're thinking of. The stonefish has the most potent venom if so
The worst food he ever ate was the fermented pork and fish (2025) end-of-year awards.
Is this our last footage of sonny the culinary adventure guy?
That fish is not good man
my dad also dislikes wearing his dentures lol. my stomach would die from a lot of the foods you eat. GERD(gastro esophageal reflux disease)
29:45 “Drawing on years of trial and error” is not something you want to hear when someone is preparing this dish for you. 🤣
