Marjorie Taylor Greene Resigns from Congress Amid Trump-Epstein Files Feud
In a surprising announcement, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene has revealed her resignation from Congress, a decision rooted in her increasingly vocal disagreements with former President Donald Trump. Greene’s resignation stems from escalating tensions over Trump’s handling of the Epstein files, as she expresses frustration over what she perceives as delays in transparency regarding the late Jeffrey Epstein’s connections and activities.
In a more than 10-minute video posted online, Greene detailed her reasoning, emphasizing her desire to spare her congressional district from the repercussions of an arduous primary challenge that would likely pit her against Trump. “I didn’t want my constituents to have to endure a hurtful and hateful primary against me by the president we all fought for,” she stated, illuminating the complex interplay of allegiance, ambition, and accountability that characterizes her departure.
The rift between Greene and Trump is not a trivial matter; it reveals underlying fractures within the Republican Party and raises critical questions about the future of the MAGA movement. Greene has taken issue not just with the Epstein files, but also with Trump’s approaches to health care and foreign policy, reflecting a growing discontent among certain factions in the GOP. As she draws a line between her principles and Trump’s strategies, her resignation may signal broader implications for party unity.
As political analyst Reggie Cecchini notes, Greene’s departure underscores a struggle for influence and direction within the party, as it grapples with maintaining its identity in the aftermath of Trump’s presidency. Her resignation may not only reshape the dynamics within her district but also affect the national discourse as the GOP navigates its future amid shifting allegiances.
In the end, Greene’s decision to resign sends ripples through the political landscape, as both her supporters and critics assess what this means for the embattled Republican Party. The aftermath of her exit will likely unfold as party members and constituents reflect on the implications of a factionalized GOP struggling to reconcile different visions for its future.

Juice wil kill her
She didn’t resign.
She announced that she would be resigning two days after her five year employment in Congress. That way she gets a healthy lifetime retirement pension plan to go along with the $25 million she made in the last five years.
You are ❤.
Resident lady USA 48.Taylor Green 🎉
It honestly seems like she got a sinking ship. She's no leftist, but she's very clearly unwilling to blindly follow and defend Trump who is likely named many times in the full unredacted Epstein files. She wants a future in politics in a Republican party post MAGA and post Trump. It doesn't seem like such a thing is possible right now, but she sees it.
Don't get it twisted. She's doing this for self preservation, not because she has suddenly grown as a person.
Good get out and take your fundementalism with you.
Finally, I am in love with Marjorie.
He also hates Indigenous. Wake up America.
Here is America First: MTG will be on the permeant federal retirement payroll on Jan 3, two days before her resignation. She has now earned 25 million dollars with a guaranteed lifelong pension. Not a bad deal for someone who wanted to "drain the swamp".
I never trusted her
MTG never met a conspiracy theory she wouldn't go all in on
GOOD RIDENCE!
lol this woman made sure she’ll be on lifetime $10k+ pension and buzzed off. What a fraud 😂
Maybe Clan Mom is just taking this chance to distance herself from Donald so that ppl will forget that she's Trump's footsoldier, then maybe in the next presidency election, she can run in it and will have completely distanced herself from Trump…
She never changed her position
Trump did
They both pledged to release the files in election and he’s blocking them and getting them redacted!!???
She’s all good
Maybe because she got caught taking money from Arab companies and countries.
Come on Marjorie, the country needs strong Republican women, the house majority is at stake here! Everybody gets a little pissed at Trump once in a while, I do! STAY!!!
Oh oh! Look out the bull horn is loose. She may have resigned, but she is still not trust worthy.
Jewish Space Lasers back at it again.
Trump betrays all his allies.
Sad. The decent ones are resigning, the con artists snd traitors stay.
Good, be gone. Let real conservatives take the power back. Canada is too stupid to vote for a good rational conservative party that has many logical and moderate policies… but maybe the US would be smart enough to put in a reformed GOP that transitioned back towards true conservative values. One thing is certain, the modern left has completely lost its path. Both the Canadian liberals and many US democrats. They aren't even liberals anymore. Its all just straight up hardline leftism. No thanks. That is everything the western world was supposed to stand against since its beginnings.
Her resignation date is the exact day she gets a full pension from the government
Human snakes have many rattles. MTG knows how to shake them all.
Thats a shame her 5 min of fame gone 😢 😅
Now beloved by Canadian media. This woman is nothing special. She's fine. Our media is broken and horribly corrupt
Traitor
Who cares?
