In “Monkey Man,” Dev Patel stars as Kid, a young man who fights in an underground club wearing a gorilla mask to make ends meet. Inspired by the legend of Hanuman, Kid unleashes years of suppressed rage as he seeks revenge on the city’s elite who have wronged him. With mysteriously scarred hands, Kid embarks on a campaign of retribution to settle the score and reclaim what was taken from him.
