I've always enjoyed William Castles Movies..as a kid…scary stuff… I always get a kick out of The Music too as I've heard it repeated in most movies… The music let's me know " A Castle Film"
I enjoy them, get a chuckle here and there!!.. quite entertaining!.. All Good!!!
Excellent movie..
Thank you, a very entertaining movie. Just loved it.✌🏻✌🏻
My favorite William Castle film. Thanks ! Castle was obviously influenced by Roger Corman's Edgar Allan Poe cycle of gothic horror films when he made this, which were popular and making good money for American International. Like those films, it features expository flashback sequences, a traveler arriving at a huge, remote, foreboding estate, and a jump scare featuring a closeup of a hideously rotted human corpse. Notice how Sardonicus' torture chamber looks practically identical to the one in Corman's Pit And The Pendulum. Thanks again !
Where's all the horse shit in the street? Spoiler alert: This vignette is not historically accurate.
👍
I wonder what the alternate ending would have been if the audience did show mercy for Baron Sardonicus. Thank you William Castle.
Zombies! Aliens! Incest! Cross-dressing! Monsters! Curse of the Swine Beast is the greatest film in cinema history!
I felt sorry for him because he did keep his promise and let them go . I guess the servant wanted revenage because of what he did to his eyes . He didn't tell him.he could open his mouth by what doctor told so servant was seeking revenag .

It never occurred to me to wonder when they started using needles, whether subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous. I didn't think of it at all, but if I had, I'd have thought it was done long ago, not that recently. Quiet eye opening! If it's right, or even close.
👍 not my place to judge
