My Return to Saudi Arabia Did Not Go as Planned…
After an exhilarating journey through the rugged landscapes of Yemen, I found myself back in Saudi Arabia, ready to continue my adventure aboard "Frankie," my trusty 1987 Yamaha XT600z. My anticipation was high; the open road beckoned, and I was eager to delve deeper into the Kingdom’s hidden treasures. However, a mere 140 kilometers into the ride, it became apparent that trouble was once again lurking just around the corner.
What was supposed to be a seamless reunion with my motorcycle quickly spiraled into another chapter of unexpected challenges. As the sun set over the vast desert, the erratic sputters of Frankie served as a somber reminder that adventure rarely goes as planned. Join me as I navigate the highs and lows of motorcycle travel, unearthing the resilience required to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
This episode promises to deliver not just the thrill of the ride, but the valuable lessons learned along the way. Stay tuned for an adventure filled with grit, passion, and the unyielding spirit of exploration.

الصحراء صعبه لازم يكون معاك مأونه و مويه تكفي . الله يستر عليها .
This wadi in Saudi is truly amazing. You do a great job of finding off beaten places. I wonder how the monkeys got there – where from and when? Was the rough road to the wadi a natural device if was it blasted to gain easier access to it?
Frankie à trop de problèmes mécanique

so beautiful to see those men with their crown’s flowers make me think of the mentawaï men ( from an indonesian Island sumatra ) wearing also crown’s flowers .I live in Indonesia and follow your journey with admiration ❤️
I love custom bikes, especially custom retro bikes. But they will never compare in reliability to a modern bike like a Honda CRF300L (which is only missing a kickstart for backup). At the end of the day, it is just such a big ask to deal with the custom repair jobs a custom bike needs. Having said that, Noralie has amazing perseverance when issues arise. Her never give up attitude and ability to find a solution in such remote places is so so admirable.
You need starlink mini , awesome
THE VERY FIRST TIME IN THE HISTORY SAUDI IS OPEN FOR WOMEN TRAVELLER ALONE WITHOUT HUSBAND. NOW YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE EXCEPT HOLY LAND MECCA, WHEN KINGA ( ON HER BIKE ) REACHING EGYPT, THE LAW HAS NOT CHANGE YET.
They open late because of cooler in the evening?
Who expected that Saudi Arabia is just a desert?
Thanks to social media, which changed the mental image of Saudi Arabia and revealed the beauty and generosity of the Saudis, the picturesque nature, forests, rivers, geographical and cultural diversity, civilization and history.
Try not to miss Tanumah or Montenegro before you go to Riyadh.
I hope the viewers read about the religion of Islam, as it recommends good morals and honoring guests, and these are among the commandments of our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace.
There are two parts in Saudi Arabia (fertile part, year-round rain and forests – and a dry desert part)
It took a little longer to diagnose what the problem really was! It turned out to be a faulty after market fuel filter 🫠 This also caused the problem previously, when I thought it was the ignition coil. I had just changed that fuel filter the dag before so that’s why in my diagnostics I thought it couldn’t be that.. so, nothing wrong with the ignition coil and nothing wrong with the CDI. Just an extra fuel filter that wasn’t working properly haha! On the bright side, without this bad fuel filter, I would have never met these men from the Qahtan tribe 🥹
