Nice but after purchase how much does it cost to maintain? Seems like you might need an engineer as crew.
Cow bay is short for Cowichan on southern Vancouver island
I crewed on a 54' Nordic Tug from Anacordis to Juneau, beautiful and saw so much you never see on a cruise!
Have you looked at Nordhavn? They are the leader in trawlers. I had a N47 for a few years till health reasons made me be a land lover again. I hope to have another one in a couple years.
PNW is my favorite scenery. I love the steep rocky coastline.
Hey Jason, that ‘thingy’ is called kelp 😊
So I’m just waiting for you both to admit, you’re hooked on this type of vessel for what you want and need right now, in order to be able to adventure to the places you want to go. Can’t wait to see what choice you make. I love sailing and motor yachts, so for me, whatever you choose your channel will still be great fun.
thats a fantastic boat. when i win the lottery ill get one just like it
Question: is there a lot of diesel exhaust smell when you’re motoring along?
Can’t wait to see the next adventure. 👍🏼
17:42 – Mom always wondered why the top of her coffee table was so polished.
It's a great vessel with a usable design for living and the crane is the tip on the ice. BC and Alaska are so beautiful. Personally I would prefer steel hul, because a yard can sandblast and repaint the hull in 3 days. Repairs such as getting a new engine are easy by cutting a hull into the side.
This has got to be my favorite yacht so far perfect size
i've seen other people use these tow behind hydro-electric generators … have you looked into that ?
Lovin it
Wow the Kayaks part, just so beautiful!
Beautiful scenery. Can't wait for next week! Take care and God speed! Love you kids! 🤩😍😘
Was that the Flemming yacht Venture?
About boat like that, you really need two tenders if that’s what you wanna call them. You’re probably sitting put for a month at least at a time at different locations and that larger tender is really a way to explore. Otherwise you’re just going back-and-forth to shore and the little one.
You all know what you want to do. Get what you want. That type of boat will suit you fine for the new adventures. You all going to adventure later on. You'll get another sailboat but for right now get the boat for the right adventure
I didn't know what to expect when I invited the Wynns to join me on my trip south. I mean, who would be crazy enough to join some random guy from the internet and his friend for two weeks on a boat? Well, the Wynns are just that crazy. It was an amazing trip. I had fun answering all of their questions and learning so much about them and their adventures. Jason and Nikki are two of the most wonderful people I have met, they are the real deal, adventurers with a heart and love for what's next. I have no idea which boat they will end up with, but I do know that they will make a great decision for themselves and their next adventure. ❤❤❤
Beautiful boat, I am looking into getting a trawler yacht to do the same adventures. You should look at Nordhavn, Flemming and Salene yachts as well. TheYacht Venture has a youtube channel and the owner of Venture created and owns Fleming yachts Tony Femming was also a designer of Grand Banks before starting flemming yachts
You should ask if you can take a ticky for if he ever wants to sell this makes the other boats look like a confused mess lol…Did I do the math right a full tank is roughly $2500 and you can travel 5000 miles or kms? Thats like $.50 a mile or knot and it will last a year WOW! Love the tour!
22:34 – AT LEAST!! Don't let the dishwasher tell you otherwise.
Are you becoming young old people or old young people?
NICE TRAWLER GUY'S !!
I still think for the overall yacht that you have looked at, the Real Ship is the one for you.
I’m ready for you guys to get off the internet.
Thumbs up.
I need one! This to me is a no brainer for your life style, it has everything……….in luxury and comfort, real home from home vibe.
We're wanting to take on high latitude fjords and glaciers with our next floating home, which means we need a proper explorer yacht. So we've joined the crew of @MVGallivant for a couple of weeks to learn what it's really like to live aboard a long range trawler. 🦈Go to https://surfshark.com/wynns or use code WYNNS at checkout to get 4 extra months of Surfshark VPN!
