Looks like a really nice city. Has a bit of everything. Beautiful temples and palace. Great night scene on the river. When you think of Cambodia, Angkor Wat comes to mind, but it’s been nice seeing this growing and interesting city. Thank you.
That tough 'beef' you had that was a "workout" to eat was probably buffalo…Phnom Penh looks like a pleasant city. Reminds me a bit of Saigon in the 90s…Great videos Gabriel.

I just found out on another vlog that Hanoi also closes its downtown streets on the weekend, we in the West could learn something from this, but the sense of community does not exist in the West like it does in the East.
FYI everyone, what you see crowded areas at riverside at night is called Phnom Penh Walk Street and only open Sat-Sun (For now, there will be more plan in the future as this is just phase 1 only)

Phnom Penh has population of 2.2 millions, not 3.2. The Population in Bangkok city is 17.4 millions is exactly the same as the entire population of Cambodia. Bangkok is very crowded.
If you went beyond the stage at the night market, there is a large grassy area for a picnic and plenty food stalls
The worst part of Cambodia is going in and out. The Immigration and Customs has always been rude and corrupt. My spouse and I have been there 3 times. Worse and worse every time. But the people and experience overall, always care free and wonderful.
It's amazing how Cambodia recovered from the Pol Pot/ Khmer Rouge/Kampuchea period! The newer generation dont have a clue of what their grandparents went through.
Change has been fast.I spent 3 months there about 8years ago.I loved it and hopefully return and stay longer.i prefer it to BKk.
