The Dior Pre-Fall 2025 collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, takes us on a journey to Kyoto, Japan, where the Tō-ji Garden serves as the stunning backdrop for this fashion show. The collection is a fusion of traditional Japanese culture and modern Western influences, resulting in a unique and captivating display of fashion.
Chiuri pays homage to Kyoto’s rich history and heritage by incorporating delicate floral motifs, intricate embroidery, and flowing silhouettes reminiscent of traditional Japanese garments. The use of luxurious fabrics such as silk and satin adds a sense of opulence to the collection, while the incorporation of modern elements such as structured blazers and tailored trousers brings a contemporary edge.
The color palette ranges from soft pastels to bold jewel tones, with each hue carefully chosen to evoke the natural beauty of Kyoto. Rich textures and intricate embellishments add depth and dimension to the garments, creating a sense of luxury and sophistication.
Overall, the Dior Pre-Fall 2025 collection is a seamless blend of East and West, tradition and modernity. Chiuri’s meticulous attention to detail and impeccable craftsmanship shine through in every piece, making this collection a true work of art.
