Wow! Nice town. I enjoyed the artwork and the colorful buildings and squares. Happy New Year!
Gabriel, you have knocked this one out of the park! Stunning video of magnificent historically important city of Puebla. You have definitely captured the true essence of Mexico with this video.
Mexico is truly an amazing country with spectacular history and beautiful scenery everywhere.
I feel that I can say this because during my epic VW campervan journey from the top of Alaska to the bottom of South America in Tierra Del Fuego I spent quite a bit of time in Mexico and in fact met a lovely Mexican girl on the beach at Zipolite. She ended up coming to Europe and we travelled around Europe in the van until it was stolen in Seville Spain. As a result I married this girl and enjoyed living in Mexico for two years total enjoying all that Mexico City has to offer as well as many other amazing historic towns scattered throughout the land.
We married in the beautiful church of Taxco, a historical silver mining town definitely worth checking out. Also Zacatecas, Tepoztlan, San Miguel de Allende and so many more.
I fact I have painted my house in South Australia in the vibrant Mexican colours that you have captured. I have also told my half Mexican son to watch these Mexican videos to inspire him to go back to Mexico and live some of the videos that you have presented in this wonderful series about Mexico.
By the way I highly recommend all the countries of South America, each one unique and special.
Cuernavaca the place south of cdmx you were thinking of? Not that great of a place, been there a few times.
Beautiful city has a lot to offer, nice pedestrian malls, great restaurants, very green historical square, not to mention a great looking Cathedral and churches. Amazing tour of Puebla thanks. Nice city to be in to bring in 2025.❤️🎉

Architectually most beautiful city in Mexico, so so so many churches. In December 2022 and January 2023 I have had private room in historic centre for 13$. Churches are very monumental, a lot of details and good paintings, on same level like European churches. In nearby Cholula 37 churches and 159 chapels. Legend about a church for every day in year. Biggest concentration of Catholic temples in the world is in valley of Puebla and Cholula, 288 parishes! Spain is synonim for rigid Catholic fundamentalism, Spaniards are most devouted papists ever, what I seen in Mexico and Peru is incredible. Enormous church on each corner. It is incredible how many churches they built in short time, how crazy religious Spanish conquistadors were. Puebla is the most beautiful city, but most beautiful place in Mexico for me is Calakmul. Mayan city in deep jungle, where climbing pyramids is allowed.
Thank You Cabriel Happy New Year🙂💙👍
I've lived in Mexico City for a few years and never been to Puebla. I will have to check it out, looks nice.
amazing place
Puebla looks pretty 👍 nice
In many of these cities I am struck with the absence of quiet places in town. I hear blaring music and loud conversation everywhere. I guess it is the culture, but I guess you need to go into the churches to find some quiet. I don't recall that much noise in the Greek videos. To each his/her own I guess. Thanks for the videos, where you travel so I don't have to!
Wow really cool city, need to go there
Happy new year to you
Love Puebla. Glad you had a chance to explore this beautiful colonial city, but bummed you didn't make it to Cuexcomate, the "world's smallest volcano", or get the opportunity to go into the Biblioteca Palafoxiana or the golden church (Rosario)- both well worth a look.
What an interesting city. I'd never heard of it, and am probably not alone in that regard. No tourists because there's no beach. But it's just the type of place I'd like to visit one day.
Wow, Puebla looks amazing. And here I thought that Guadalajara is the best LOL. Ok, now I know where I'm going to go and spend my mucho dineros next time LOL. Viva Mexico in memory of the greatest and most missed Juan Gabriel Y Vicente Fernandez LOL. Amen 🙏🤪😂🥰
Happy new year. You definitely find interesting and unique places.
Wow🎉
How safe is Mexico?
Puebla de los Angeles is a city in southeastern Mexico. Founded in 1531, Puebla is a colonial city rich in history, architecture, and gastronomy. It's known for its stunning cathedral, picturesque historic center, and traditional cuisine, including mole poblano and talavera pottery.
Puebla is also famous for being the site of the Battle of Puebla, a pivotal event in Mexican history that took place on May 5, 1862. The battle, in which Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza defeated the French army, is commemorated annually on Cinco de Mayo.
In addition to its rich history and culture, Puebla is home to a major industrial hub, including a large Volkswagen factory that produces vehicles for the Mexican and international markets. This factory is one of the largest and most important in the country, contributing significantly to Puebla's economy.
Puebla is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular destination for cultural tourism, attracting visitors from around the world with its unique blend of history, culture, and industry.
If it's not too late, I'd love to see you stay spend a day/night in a small town.
Things to do (excursion), prices of food, hotel in a village, etc.
Hey Gabriel. The Cathedral has two wall crypt burials. Both are in-between the pillar walls. First Arch Bishop Julián Garcés and Ramón Ibarra y González the last bishop to have this cathedral. The most famous painting you passed was Saint Rose of LIMA, it was one of the rare originals on the wall. Pope Francis venerated her. Cathedral looks more modernized now.
It would make it more interesting if you throw in some food photos/video of various items that they offer
Really great choice of music for the visual interludes.
Happy New Year 2025, Gabriel. I look forward to seeing more of your travel adventures ✨🧨🎉✨
I lived there in the 1980s, love the city and continue visiting every year, lots of good memories there, best time of my life. ❣️❤🙏
6:05 Apparently 21degrees Celsius in Mexico warrants a full on winter jacket for some people. That's just plain disrespectful to everyone in the northern hemisphere. They need to experience actual winter.
Looks liek youre on your way to Oaxaca. Enjoy some chappolines for me
Thank you for this video! You are quite right. Puebla is incredible! Puebla es una ciudad increíble!
Fantastic
Gabe, can you talk a little bit about how authentic Mexican food compares to what you get in the USA, and also how it differs in each Mexican region? 😊
60 per night…alright Mr Rockefeller
amazing so special and unique city ❤❤❤. thank you so much .
What an interesting city! Do much art around! For sure, in my list. It seems pretty easy to travel from Mexico city, only 2 hours or a little more.
Your data about the Mazatlan population is totally wrong, you put around 380,000 population and actually is around 450, 000, you take a very old data only in the city but including all municipio is around 550,000
The courtyards go forever.
nice place! happy new year
Puebla is an incredible city. Thanks Gabriel for showing us these less known and uncommon places that travellers hardly show. It's so refreshing to see😊
Beautiful video!.❤.
Hope you travel to Veracruz soon. 🌴
Gabriel thank you for the beautiful tour of Puebla Mexico. I would love to see you go to Cuba. Happy New Year! Take care Betty Jean
Why is Puebla under the radar? Is it the location relative to Mexico City?
