Everything on this video is new to me, I've seen limited scenes inside during the horse race and I almost said you're wrong, but I checked and they shut down in 2011. The French built 3 structures for this racecourse, the small one initially called "Les Tribunes", then they expanded bigger and called it "Champ Des Course", finally they changed the wrought iron structures to the current concrete structure in the 1930s and it called "hippodrome"
When they built the indoor stadium and the sport facility along with all the apartments I was worried there won't be enough space for the horses, who knew it's huge. My aunt told me the streets around this racecourse used to be smaller, tree canopies covered all the sun, I'm sure 99% of people in Saigon have never set foot inside. Thanks for showing the current state of this place!
I suppose it will always be footage from Vietnam?! Tôi đã có đủ 👋
