After nearly nine months on land, Jason and Nikki Wynn are finally back to sailing! And not just anywhere—they’re right where their very first big sailing adventure began almost nine years ago: the Bahamas. Only this time, they’re doing it aboard a vessel unlike anything they’ve ever sailed.
Second Star isn’t just any catamaran. She’s a Windelo—a marvel of modern marine engineering. With electric motors, massive solar panels, the biggest forward cockpit they’ve ever seen, and a hull made from volcanic basalt. The Bahamas have welcomed them back with familiar faces, gin-clear water, and classic champagne sailing conditions—a much-needed reminder of why they fell in love with this lifestyle in the first place.
The video showcases their experience aboard the unique Windelo catamaran, from a tour of the vessel to exploring the beautiful sailing grounds of the Bahamas. With a mix of adventure, camaraderie, and stunning scenery, the Wynns share their passion for sailing and curiosity for the world around them.
Their journey is all about cultivating curiosity, whether it’s living off-grid, talking to strangers, or exploring alternative living lifestyles. Through their videos, they invite viewers to join them on their adventures and embrace a life driven by curiosity and exploration.
So, if you’re curious about unique catamarans, stunning sailing destinations, and the joy of living a life of exploration, be sure to check out “The Most Unique Catamaran We’ve Ever Sailed” on the Gone With the Wynns YouTube channel. Stay salty and happy sailing!

That was a sweet boat! Nice lines!
Oooo… The Windelo!
It’s good to see you folks on the water again!
Happy to see you all back in the salt
I didn't realize how much I have missed your sailing videos until I got to see this one. Keep it up! Looking forward to y'all getting your own boat again. Good luck with the search!. I do have a question though, & I'm sure y'all have an NDA with H & H, but would you consider another H & H in the future? Once again, I really enjoy the content y'all make, Keep it up! Looking forward to seeing what y'all decide to purchase. Good luck and safe sailing!
So awesome to be along for the sail! Glad to see you guys back in your element.
All Right! The Wynns are sailing!
Oh, right. THAT'S why I subscribed to the Wynn's channel! It was so great to see the two of you back where you belong.
I saw HH had a video saying they figured out the current/grounding issues on the HH44 and solved it. Are you going to get Curiosity 2 back all fixed? Or still done with HH?
This reminds me of the old days on your channel. Great cinematography with enough story to tie it together. I am looking forward to your next boat and years of adventure..
not for nothing but I LOVE this forward cockpit arrangement in catamarans, especially with a boat you want to take on long passages with potentially bad weather. feels like the best of pilothouse monohulls' crew protection/comfort and catamaran performance/living space! ETA: also 8:09 that HUGE SCREEN next to the nav station stairs absolutely rules; it has Star Trek "master systems display" vibes, lol
So glad to see you back in your natural habitat!! 😀 And stunning a boat that you have there!
you looked 10 years younger.😍😎💗
Nice boat….I’m just saying.
How absolutely lovely seeing you back on the water glowing with happiness ❤
Ha ha ha, , If you could see my face the whole time. Im smiling and enjoying my time in that beautiful water in the Bahamas with you. 😂❤ Loved the boat and the widows that you can look up the sails. Very comfortable. Thanks for the video and take care. Hope you find a boat in Fort Lauderdale soon.
The race near the end was best! That Catvis indie for and beautifully set up. It was the finer time I found myself watching the whole LMNT part of the video. We already drink it and love it and need to try some new flavors. Great for keto people.
❤😂 🎉
Wow, what a gorgeous boat! The layout is awesome too.
Should we expect a response to yesterday's HH video?
What do you think about the inflatable sail MODX70 ?
Good to see you both smiling again.
Question out of curiosity (no pun intended) , Did you mention what you did with your Electric Dingy? I am hoping you have that still for your next boat.
So beautiful!! 😍
Really like the Windelo layout. Not sold on the building materials. How difficult would repairs be? But then again, the same can be said about carbon fiber.
So glad to see you guys back on the water. You can see the joy in your eyes. Can’t wait to see the next adventure.
I think you found your next boat.
You guys so deserve this!! Beautiful
So happy to see both of you happy again. Nothing beats sailing in the Exumas on a new, beautiful sailing catamaran.
The wonderfull Wynns set sail again .Bon Voyage.
Wow! Happy Wynns on the watet! ❤
Beautiful boats. Love seeing the Canadian flag. We're pretty patriotic these days.
