Okayyyyyy, I’m out.
Here I sit in my living room on a Sunday morning watching video of boat products, none of which I’ll ever be in a position to buy and will only appreciate because I watch your channel. But, it’s good to see the both of you. I hope we hear about the boat soon. You both be safe, and we’ll see you soon.
This is the MOST BORING video I have every watched. THUMBS DOWN!
What happened to Motoskif 😢
Interesting…BUT what is going on with the BIG BOAT???
This is really valuable info. Things are changing so fast. Maybe make it a yearly gig for you guys?
Electric torqeedo Electric Volvo xc40. But still love my Suzuki 23kg 6hp with thrust prop. Pulling my wife out of the water on her foil board on my rubbish channel 😂
$18k for a 25hp outboard… 😅
💛
Electric motors haven’t you learned with your HH experience. Seriously there’s nothing more reliable than fossil fuels. Yeah you built a green boat, but it turned out to be a lemon 🍋 learn from that please.
I love your videos, but the nett zero carbon tax scam has cost you dearly .
No electric outboard motors or not as good as gas try both of them whenever gold electric again also ask Captain Rick he had one for his dinghy nice one he gave it up went back to gas I'm fixing to buy a new motor it's going to be gas
Thanks for the heads up on the next video – now I know to skip it.
Love the video. What is the update on your boat? 🤠
ZeroJet Electric Outboard & 5kWh Battery retail price $18,990 USD
It must be interesting to promote all these smart sailing tech having screwed by one only recently.
Been with you two since your RV days. I don't intend to ever sail but I enjoy your videos. You show me parts of this world that I will never see. Looking forward to what may be next. Have a great week.
I always come away with an anticipation.. what you’re looking at for sailing, I see the applications for these motors off grid. Solve the cooling issue and the applications are endless.
I really like my Elco outboards, because they use a standard outboard chassis. All of the third party accessories will fit. I have Ezy-glide rod steering connected to mine, and there are no end of third party props available.
My experience with these electric outboards is they are very fragile. Had a torqueedo and several plastic components broke under light use. With so many changes going on I’d wait until a proven design survives before I’d lay down thousands of bucks. Also light weight is not a desirable feature for an outboard imo. Light = cheap.
Motor technology has been there for a while, batteries are still too heavy and lacking energy density to be a practical solution as of yet. Cost , Ya that's a thing too.
Longevity. both the motor and battery. just saying
What's Happening with your boat Curiosity? Update please❤
Cool video . I have a 25 mec on my 10’ I hit 50 . Not sure how long the run time is . Because I normal only play with a couple hrs at a time . Sure would be fun to play with a electric outboard
Great content and video. Thx! My buddy is looking to replace his 2.5hp Yamaha outboard with electric and will send this over to him. The 25hp zero jet could be interesting if we need led to replace our current outboard. Thx
Nikki has the greatest wardrobe in all of YouTube.
Would love to hear how practical your electric dingy has been. Do you find that the system you have is working well or is it missing something (range/performance/etc)
