Ingredients (for a 20×20 cm pan):

  • 150 g unsalted butter
  • 200 g dark chocolate
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 180 g sugar
  • 70 g flour
  • 40 g cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. Melt the Butter and Chocolate: In a heatproof bowl, combine the butter and dark chocolate. Melt them together over a double boiler or in the microwave until smooth. Let it cool slightly.

  2. Whisk the Eggs: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and salt until well combined.

  3. Combine Ingredients: Gradually add the sugar to the egg mixture, whisking continuously until the mixture is smooth.

  4. Mix in Chocolate: Slowly pour the melted chocolate and butter mixture into the egg mixture, stirring well to combine.

  5. Add Dry Ingredients: Sift in the flour and cocoa powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.

  6. Bake: Pour the batter into a greased 20×20 cm pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

  7. Cool and Serve: Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a few minutes before cutting into squares. Enjoy them warm for the best melt-in-your-mouth experience!
