The conflict between Ukraine and Russia has escalated to new heights, with Ukrainian troops launching a daring incursion into Russian territory. Despite facing heavy resistance from Moscow, Ukraine shows “no sign of winding down”, according to FRANCE 24 correspondent Emmanuelle Chaze.
Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly continuing their advance within Russian borders, causing chaos and tensions to rise in border regions such as Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk. The situation on the ground is becoming increasingly volatile, with Russia calling in reinforcements to push back against Kyiv’s forces.
In the midst of this escalating conflict, Chaze reports from Kramatorsk, shedding light on the intense fighting and uncertainty in the region. The incursion has not only raised concerns about the immediate military confrontation but also the broader implications for the already strained relations between Ukraine and Russia.
As the situation continues to unfold, it remains clear that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia is far from over. The international community is closely monitoring the developments, as the repercussions of this incursion could have far-reaching consequences for the region.

Its operation barbarossa all over again
It goes both ways. Play stupid games win stupid prices.
Russia could stop the war TOMORROW by withdrawing from ALL occupied territory.
whats the big deal? an incursion against no resistance? The question now is can they hold on to the counterattack?
Of course it won't wind down, Ukraine just opened a new front, in a fire pocket inside Russia surrounded on 3 sides, resupplied via a 10 km wide corridor literal minutes of flight time from Russian FAB bombers bases, and politically has to hold it if they want to use it for exchange.
Russia can and probably will use this pocket to drain every last reserve Ukraine has until the entire eastern and southern front collapses.
Opening a new front when you're losing the war has never been a very successful strategy.
How deeply involved is France.
Putin should thank Ukraine for building buffer zone he was asking for. Ukraine built it in only "3 days" 🙂
Only hope for russia is for Ukraine to join NATO because NATO would never allow Ukraine to such thing. Ukraine needs restraint:)
Russia's military is overstretched.
Russia, headless chicken running without a mind
Hahahaha nothing but a stunt with midiatic objectives to deviate attention from the calamitous situation all over the front…
Will end as a FIASCO just like that joke of a counteroffensive!
Ukraine has a shortage of manpower but is able to penetrate to Kursk region inside Russian territory.
This means that it has still a good military strategy..
Ukrainians are gods of war.
The paper bear is not so taugh
Ukraine captured 30km of russia to trade with donbass and Crimea regions…..hold on a sec ehat!
Putin thought Ukrainian forces were totally defensive he made a big mistake with that assumption Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦
Alright! It is on now. Onward to Kursk and free the Russians from Putin.
Trump and Putin are not happy.
😂
Russia is humiliating itself in front of the world. Russia is a joke.
More Westerners money 💰 to be shipped 😂😂😂
It was reported that 230 Ukraine soldiers were already killed, France 24 still sticked to old news.
Ukraine is preparing for the possibility that if Trump becomes the next U.S. president, he might pressure Ukraine to immediately cease fire and use the current line of control as the basis for future territorial boundaries. Given the strong Russian defenses on the current front lines, which are difficult to overcome in the short term, Ukraine needs to exploit weaknesses in Russian defenses to advance the line of control quickly. Although the areas controlled may not be of strategic military importance, they could provide a more favorable position for future political negotiations, especially if led by Trump.
You can expect that Ukraine will not engage in hit-and-run guerrilla warfare this time. They will set up defensive lines based on the situation, aiming to hold onto occupied territories. However, they will also monitor Russia's reactions to decide on the deployment of military resources. If Russia redirects its main forces to expel Ukrainian invading troops, Ukraine might seize the opportunity to make gains on the current stalemated front lines. This would present Putin with a difficult decision in the short term.
Zelenskyy made a risky yet brilliant and necessary move politically and militarily.
Well, what I know, France 24 has never published openly Ukraine losses in this conflict, I remember them saying russia does not even have food for its own soldires, I think, it's not easy to believe Western Media, they hardley cover Isaeli destruction in Gaza against Palestine, The best great Journalist died in World War II, the West no longer have independent media
