Oh yesss pleeeez!! Making the asparagus w/ I have cod, packets right now. We’ll see….
I like to make what mom called "hobo stew" before going on an overnighter in the woods.. Take a half pound burger patty and add a cut up russet potato, carrots, celery, onion, bell and jalapeno pepper.. Add a liberal amount of Johnny's salt then wrap in two layers of foil then freeze overnight.. Toss it in the cooler the morning you leave.. By the time you're hungry put in directly on a bed of campfire coals for 20 minutes on each side.. Open up and enjoy with a cold beer.. It makes my friends jealous every time! 😉
