Hidden Details in Unitree’s Latest WILD Humanoid Robot Demos
Unitree Robotics has taken the stage with captivating new demonstrations of its humanoid robots, featuring a striking face-off between its towering 5’11” H2 and the smaller 4’4″ G1. While the heavyweight H2 showcases unparalleled power and agility, performing sophisticated moves such as flips and targeted strikes, the heart of the demonstration lies in the intricate details that reveal Unitree’s technological advancements.
Recent demos highlight not just the robots’ physical prowess but also their innovative teleoperation setups. Unitree’s use of a motion capture suit transcends the limitations of conventional VR headsets, promising a more fluid control experience for users. Additionally, the newly designed hands of the G1, significantly improved from earlier versions, demonstrate enhanced dexterity, allowing the robot to execute everyday tasks seamlessly.
As the humanoid robotics race accelerates, comparisons with competitors like Boston Dynamics arise. While both companies present jaw-dropping feats, Unitree’s focus on affordability aims to democratize access to advanced robotics. The implications of these details are enormous. They not only underscore the capabilities of Unitree’s humanoids but also set a benchmark for future innovations in the field. Can American robots keep pace? The competition is heating up, and the future of humanoid robotics is more exciting than ever.

You guys better get out there and cover that T-800 one they dropped the other day. Not even kidding about the name.
That MF is STRONG!
The CEO did a PR demo and got kicked hard on the floor!
🤣🤣🤣
them house clankers still needs some work.
🇷🇺🪆
Compare to Tesla robot Unitree is far more advanced !!
CGI smh
Putting robots to fight is just proof that the human species is inferior……. I hope that when they gain some kind of consciousness they will look for those who put them to fight…😎
okay so basically every Japanese sci-fi anime has just become reality… sweet….
you remember those personality quizzes which were like what Universe do you want to live in? there must be a segment of the population right now who is really really really really really happy, and another segment of the population that is really really scared.
Of course it is cheaper. They stole BD's R&D, technology and design.
Everything is tele-operated unless proven otherwise
This changes everything.
Boston dynamics could never
Flips, sports….its already surpassed me🤣
Sooooo… how capable ARE the hands? Asking for a friend… >.>
we're cooked, someday either see a Terminator or Lacia-class hIE (Beatless)
It's the potential of the mocap suit and avatars that gets me.
changes EVERYTHING … Game Over … No one is talking about it … Jesus how many times the same `headlines`
3:16 " Certain safety parameters were in place that prevented the robot from touching itself " – yeah, touching itself can be dangerous. Who knows what it will lead to! 😜
Unitree is so cool until the t800 walks into a bar
The Robot fighting market will replace WWE in future.
the robot boxing reminds of the movie real steel
Unitree isn’t anything but a Boston Dynamics knockoff! Typical Chinese ripoff of American technology. Their humanoid robot is basically a toy.
chinese t800 robot more impressive
If they can be tele-operated then that means we will have AI in our homes soon! AI = actual indians.
Yes keep doing it! Then robots will destroy humans!
Great, new fear,, getting kicked in the head.
The idea that you will have this at home is to make you comfortable with the entity that will replace you at work and eventually you will be gone no need no job c'ya jus sayin wake tf up.
And if it gets shot for self defense.. it won’t die. We’re cooked
Terminator. I’m sure we’ve all seen it 😮
This reviewer and Unitree don’t understand what type of robot will be mass produced in future. It won’t be a fighting robot, it will be a robot that can serve Humans. A robot that has been shown to fight will put a lot of buyers off. It’s always the hands and Ai capabilities that count. Unitree doesn’t have even an acceptable Ai and their hands only mimic an operators. Unitree so far has shown itself to be nothing but a toy company.
All these technology but of no significant for amputees.
