What’s New with the Figure 03 Humanoid? A Look into the Latest Innovations
In its latest unveiling, Figure has introduced the Figure 03 humanoid robot, showcasing exciting advancements tailored for home, warehouse, and various applications. CEO Brett Adcock clarified that while the robot in the presentation is not teleoperated, it raises questions about autonomy, as it exists on a spectrum rather than being fully autonomous.
The new Figure 03 is equipped with enhanced features, including a flexible foot design and interchangeable, machine washable clothing that promotes safety and adaptability. Demonstrations from Figure’s Northern California facility highlight its impressive capabilities, such as effectively doing laundry—though the demo’s simplicity prompts requests for more rigorous challenges, like tackling an overflowing laundry bag.
Further showcasing its versatility, Figure 03 effectively cleans dishes and tidies up spaces, all while boasting safety enhancements to prevent pinch injuries. This model also emphasizes dual functionality, balancing roles in both home environments and logistics.
With ambitious production plans aimed at creating 12,000 units a year, Figure is clearly aspiring to make a significant impact in the robotics sector. As Figure 03 evolves, the conversation around the role of such humanoid robots in our daily lives continues to develop—would you welcome one into your home? Let us know in the comments!

Most folks are currently having a hard time paying off their car loans right now. Imagine the same folks taking on more debt to buy one of these robots, which will easily cost as much as a car.
very good cnet review…. some of your other colleagues should take a note
Undoubtably incredibly cool. And would be amazing to have that kind of help around the home just aiding in domestic tasks like cleaning and laundry. But when you move it into the commercial space you will end up removing peoples jobs. Is anybody even talking about legislating that?
So a robot you can’t buy yet? Looked at the website and there’s no buy or price option.
I cant wait for the age of personal robotics and solid state batteries.
This is far more advanced than any Tesla Robo😮😮😮
Can't wait for more consumer robots from Figure
Detriot: Become Human vibes
This is so stupid. It is literally labeled "end-to-end". And whether the dishes are porcelain or plastic makes zero difference, given that we just see the success cases
Can't afford anything like these units, and most likely will have more trouble affording anything else since there may be several of us replaced by said tech on jobsites and greater competition to earn an income among others.
" Guess we will see" how everything unfolds.
For now, am not going to worry..
No sense in stressing on what is out of ones control.
Lol, don't you worry, I'll be sure to purchase the most expensive lingerie I can for my robot made.
Impressive! This is the best humanoid robot produced by the US. However, Chinese robots are already in mass production and they are low cost. It will be hard for US robots to compete. Only tariffs will save them but they may have difficulties competing outside of the US.
New expensive toys i cant afforded i must to take a loan to afforded it is not worth it for me
Figure may be slower than you, but it can still work during night while you sleep, at the end this speed difference will be negligible
The future seems both exciting and terrifying each passing day….
Ahh, testing / training in multi-million dollar houses I see… wide hallways, bright white, no pack of dogs etc… I've yet to see them test / train in a realistic home setting. Bring one out here, bet they bumble around and get confused by dogs, narrow halls, narrow stairs etc..
there's a huge difference between almost being able to do it, and being able to do it.
the way it's loading the dishwasher, all of my dishes would be chipped after a few days.
Having one of these things prowling around my house would just be ultra-creepy. Nah …
Future
In a word "no". There are so many things wrong with that picture shown of the robot in the home, in terms of what it is and what it implies.
I guess the questions never been asked why do robots have to look like humans?🤯
Finally, The robot that’s do the housework instead of dancing and do some useless show off.
If it's a problem when I see him on the street we'll wrestle but Ducktails have grenade lawchers so we might be doomed2.
This is clearly not priced for the regular consumers.
speed isn't important when it can work without sleeping !
Detroit : become human
Skynet incoming
I wish these things had 10% of the abilities they pretend to have… not teleoperated does not mean not preprogrammed or edited to show the 1 success whilst not mentioning the 100 failures or crashes.
All these humanoid companies talking about mass production when I havent seen a single video of them doing a useful, realistic thing.
People can't afford food, healthcare, and housing and the evil tech billionaires are pushing this crap. Nobody wants robots or AI.
