From locking children in a hot car while shopping to showing up drunk to a graduation armed with a gun, these parents have left a lot to be desired.

One particularly disturbing case occurs in St. Petersburg, Florida, where a woman left two young children locked in a hot car while she went shopping at Walmart. The officer who responded to the call had to deal with a mother who seemed to think the situation was no big deal, despite the potentially deadly consequences.

In Westmont, Illinois, a mother was involved in a dispute with her daughter over car keys. The daughter claimed her mother took the keys and refused to give them back, citing disrespect as the reason. The mother’s entitled attitude and refusal to cooperate with the officers only made matters worse.

In Bristol Township, Pennsylvania, a father got into a heated argument with officers who responded to a domestic disturbance call. Despite his protests and claims of innocence, the man was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest.

And in Houston, Texas, a man showed up drunk to his daughter’s graduation and fired a gun at the ceremony. Despite his attempts to downplay the situation and claim innocence, the man was arrested and charged with a variety of offenses.
