That's the best way to prove a point "I don't want to talk about this" and you instantly win against any negative complaining reporters trying to get bad reactions on camera for their greedy shows.
Well, I’ll be dammed…an English speaking Russian.
The joke practically writes itself
Russians love Putin
Life is but a dream
So, what HAVE the Russians actually been fighting for?
pre-requisite kissing the czar's ring, and then you can dream.
I see tinted vehicle becareful i think your being under surveillance by FSB
Jesus Christ is against dictator Putin. Dictator Putin is doomed.
Dont come to the USA
Russia has the right to defend itself from NATO provocations
She will be surprised when she gets to Europe and finds that things are worse
We are Americans living in Russia. My daughter is just about the same age as these girls, he is talking to. My daughter feels perfectly safe here in Moscow. Much more so than in New York. I and my wife feel the same way. I have no idea what these girls are talking about. This is nothing but stupid, very stupid propaganda and pure lies. living in Moscow is pure joy. No crime, streets are clean, lots of stores, lots of everything. Great salaries. Low prices. It's great. Nothing like in New York where you survive every single day. Here, you live your life. Those girls don't know what they are talking about. They are mostly saying what they think they believe in, but it's not for real. All girls here come from good families. Sooner or later they will learn how to live in a society. At this stage, they know nothing. Taking their interviews is very low for a serious journalist. They are 16 years old, most likely. That's why they are hiding their faces. This guy is dirty, we know it. He works for the big boss. Don't expect any truth from this character.
Seriously how is this news,
They did 3 interviews with these different people and this is the 6 minute edit we get ….seriously ? This is why people are sick of these networks , it’s not some right wing left wing culture war nonsense , it’s the fact that they don’t actually do real news work now . He talks about his journey to Kazan and how hard it is , more then they show interviews with the Tatar women for example. Like who cares ….many people travel for work , get over yourself . Show us the actual content of these conversations , it could be interesting for us as Americans to see what middle aged women in Tatarstan in Russia are up to , its people we don’t know about and it could be interesting .
With the kid you kept all the parts talking about the injury to his father , though I’m sure there’s hours of footage of him talking about his life and his actual “voice” , you asking him probing questions about his recently deceased father was not what we need to hear
Of all those “voices “ of Russia , the only one heard here was your own .
its so evident from the hours and hours of footage you had, and the fact that THIS is the edit you made, this is more like a short film then any type of journalism, he montages through what would be the actual journalism, and does a voice over thats essentially reading a wikipedia page.
For example instead of covering how his father died, you could have asked how Islam feels that the US in a way is funding the weapons that killed his father, and he seems to be pro putin but also wants to go to America, it would be interesting to hear what he says about that…..instead you just mention it as a factoid in a brief VO. I figure that you probably have that footage, but maybe that would maybe make it too sympathetic or nuanced for this black and white image you seem to like to promote. I am not even saying your perspective is wrong, but if your afraid of giving us the bigger context incase we make the wrong conclusions…. thats reasonable….but that means your not journalists. Journalists believe the world is better when the people have more information not less.
Genuinely one of the most demonstrable examples of why and how the news doesn’t do news anymore.
Provocation vs action is completely different. Emotion and anger doesn’t equal justification.
Russia has to fight for its security.
Boston?!!! University no good at all…
Psychopath guy with nukes is scary . I support Ukraine and hope all civilised countries do too .
