1000 Miles! Elon Musk LEAKED All EV Automakers Are Chasing This New Battery Type | ICE Cars Killer?
In the ever-evolving landscape of electric vehicles (EVs), one topic dominates the conversation: battery technology. Elon Musk has long stated that the future of EV batteries is bright, with innovations poised to redefine efficiency, charging speeds, and costs. While Tesla’s 4680 battery is a fantastic step forward, Musk hints at a game-changing alternative that has the industry buzzing—solid-state batteries.
Imagine electric vehicles capable of reaching an astonishing 1,000 miles on a single charge. Solid-state batteries promise not only incredible range but also heightened safety, virtually eliminating fire risks associated with traditional lithium-ion batteries. Leading the charge in solid-state technology is none other than Toyota, which is aiming to leapfrog competitors and reclaim its position in the EV market with this cutting-edge innovation.
But what exactly are solid-state batteries, and why are they being heralded as the future of EV technology? Could Elon Musk and Tesla be at risk of falling behind in the battery race? Join us in this deep dive into the world of solid-state batteries, explore their potential, and uncover what it all means for the future of transportation.

Are we finally done with EV battery fire concerns if solid-state becomes the norm?
Do you think Toyota will actually deliver a solid-state EV by 2027, or will someone else beat them to it?
If solid-state is safer, lighter, and more efficient, why hasn’t Tesla jumped on it yet?
🏁 Is range even the biggest issue anymore—or is charging speed more important to most drivers?
Imagine EVs that weigh less, go farther, charge faster, and don’t catch fire—solid-state isn’t hype, it’s the future.
🔋 If Toyota really nails solid-state by 2027, Tesla better have a serious answer—because 1,000 miles on a 10-minute charge changes the EV game completely.
It’s cool that Toyota’s been working on this since 2010. Everyone laughed when they lagged on EVs, but now it looks like they were playing the long game.
🔧 What are the biggest technical barriers still holding solid-state batteries back from mass production?
I wish Tesla does this, they will rick the market,
They include a lot of silver in that battery also
So we should go for energy density. This creates a charging problem especially in places like apartment complexes where the vehicle density is very, very high. It will be impossible to provide charging services for an apartment complex.
The solution is filling stations that swap out discharged batteries for fully charged batteries in minutes. The charging stations will be a replacement for the current filling stations. They will need to hold an inventory of batteries that are being charged. Batteries will have to be recyclable and standardized across all vehicles. Battery swapping will have to be fully automated (i.e. performed by AI's). Customers will not own the batteries in their vehicles rather, they will rent them from a battery charging company.
The problem is finding enough electricity to charge billions of large batteries. The way to do that is with thorium LFTR reactors. Solar and wind generation systems are too fragile to supply the reliability we need. This regimen is what it will take to make electric vehicles truly practical by making it super simple and convenient for customers to get a recharge.
Pie in the sky BS
🙋♂️❤️💕🇹🇯🌟🇺🇲🌟🎭🌟🚀🚘🎉🚘🔋⚡️👍
Energy source is always better where it needs to be used (ie: gasoline, diesel). Batteries will always have the 4 faux pas'. Distance, longevity, cost, disposal. I'd like to live a world where money grows on trees. I'd like to have unlimited energy souces available for free. Dreaming and reality are being blurred by engineers/inventors. Adding self-driving to battery in order to promote interest should be done with hybrids or pure ICE tech to see the interest. I seriously doubt if batteries are the answer. In some applications they offer convenience (like power tools). But in automobiles, not so much. Ever see one of those videos on youtube where the EV driver cannot find a charging station that works? Nuff said.
I have known about the solid state batteries for a very long time now.
Honda has been using these for a long time.
They are safer and will last forever commonly know as the forever.
New solid state batteries are fantastic but can it be charged and discharged 1,000 times?
Yawn…..
Great news ❤❤
The big change with this will be electric airplanes.
Toyota also said hydrogen was the best. Hmmm.
No, there is no place that has that amount of electric capacity in the grid.
EV manufacturers will decrease the battery size to keep the 300 mile range just to save space weight and cost.
Boring 🥱
iF YOU WERE SERIOUS YOU WILL NEVER PUBLISH THAT ABOUT tOYOTA. iT HAS BEEN THE SAME STORY FOR 10 YEARS IN A ROW.
Tesla ❤Elon Musk ❤
What a b-l shit solid state. They talked about this for 10 years, but its nothing. LOL
Toyota does NOT have this —
