2026 Tesla Model 2: $17,699 Spotted on Texas Streets! Elon Musk Leaks New Design for the Masses!
Excitement is building in the electric vehicle community with the recent sighting of the highly anticipated 2026 Tesla Model 2 on the streets of Texas. After years of speculation and shifting plans, Elon Musk has confirmed that the production of this groundbreaking vehicle is officially underway.
The Model 2 is set to redefine affordability in the electric vehicle market, rumored to launch at a competitive price of $15,789. This price point is not just a number; with the federal EV tax credit of $7,500, buyers could feel as if they’re scoring a deal that rivals the cost of an e-bike rather than a car. It’s a strategic move by Tesla to make electric driving accessible to the everyday consumer, providing a much-needed alternative to soaring gas prices.
In a bold claim, Musk has stated that the Model 2 aims to become the most mass-produced vehicle in history, with projected production numbers reaching nearly 50 million units. This far exceeds the success of Tesla’s current bestseller, the Model Y, signaling a major shift in the automotive landscape.
As eyes turn toward Tesla, the anticipation of what this affordable vehicle will truly offer is palpable. Will it live up to the hype? With its promise of redefinition and mass production, the Model 2 may very well change the way we think about electric vehicles.
Stay tuned for updates as Tesla continues to unveil new details and designs, establishing itself at the forefront of the EV revolution!

Tesla is solving problems I didn’t even know I had
Structural battery, 48V system, AI5—this is not a baby Model Y
The smaller size means less space—good luck fitting your stuff in that tiny trunk
No panoramic glass roof is a huge downgrade for Tesla fans
How much will insurance actually cost for a budget EV with advanced tech?
The minimalist interior sounds cheap and uncomfortable
Giga casting is working exactly as promised. Mass-market EVs are here
Wow
How much is that in pounds then?
Impressive
OUT, DAMN SPOT!!!
That’s brilliant controlling that drone well good flying
Waiting on the Tesla T Transparent car or the model C convertible under 20k
Hope this is actually true news 😊
I wish the hatchback was gonna be available in the USA sooner than later. The photos that I have viewed for the model two does have the glass roof hopefully that’s! And probably the insurance cost on the car will depend on the state you live and I would think the company you use. Of course, if you have a large family, you need a larger car. It makes sense. I’m sold on the model two. I do want the glass roof. I do want the wing doors and the safety features and some of that I guess you will call them extras. Thank you for listening.
I keep hearing that Tesla bought ORA, Ormat Technologies in Sparks Nevada. They have impeccable numbers and technology. They are the creme de La creme and the leader in geothermal. They integrated extremely well and understand solar, which is on the way out because the big beautiful Bill no longer gives it credits. Geothermal now has more credits than ever. It's a 24-hour cheap bass load, with no need for a battery. Drill down anywhere baby !!
I wish I had a Tesla semi, that was fully autonomous and would allow my money to work even better for me. And power it with geothermal from ormat Technologies, well that sounds like tax credit galore in lots of inflation hedging on power for the future
Have had my Y a year. Only noticed the glass roof this week. 😮
People who buy this most likely can't pay a humdred bucks a month for fsd. So is kinda like what's the point?
I dont drive much. Pay a buck a mile for fsd. 😅

he can win now, if he really wants to win, make this like a pick up truck (say like chevy luv look). This is the average joe.
Nobody cares. Tesla has been such a huge let down, I'm done with it.
