13:01 … Return of the Jedi was filmed in this area 1983 (Morrison Creek Road near Crescent City), Chewbacca had to be escorted through the woods by guys wearing warning vests, because locals and hunters were searching those woods for Bigfoot, and the crew feared Chewbacca would be mistakenly shot
🌲🌲🌲 My family and I took a road trip from the Bay Area to FORT BRAGG ⛵️⛵️⛵️way back in the early 1990’s. The following day we rode the SKUNK TRAIN 🚂🚂🚂 to WILLITS where we had a quick lunch before boarding the train again back to FORT BRAGG. It was a once in a lifetime experience.
Always a good day when Gabriel uploads a video! 📸 ⭐
What a life you’ve had! Living it on your own terms. Thanks for sharing with those of us who aren’t quite that adventurous.
Gaibreil highroller morris ❤❤❤
Gab, have you ever been to Appalachian Mountains for hiking?
👍
Did you ever meet any weirdos or get into risky situations while hitch hiking.
How can u keep a driver's license??
I be scared to pick up any hitch hiker, you dont know if your going to bekilled or ass raped, kidnapped. Guy has some balls, getting in a car with strangers!!!!
I love to hitchhike, even as I am almost 60 years old and love meeting people. Just did one from Derry to Tyrone and then to Enniskillen 😂
45 years and only 22 countries. There's so much more to see!
Hi Gabriel, Hitchhiking was something we were taught not to do as a kid. Too many crazies out here. That's one of my fears: breaking down in the middle of nowhere with no one around and possibly in danger.
Wondering if people in & around the Region once hearing about Chris thought he was you & have been thinking all this time they saw him… maybe even informed Authorities they believe they saw him when in fact it was you navigating the territory.
We're definitely a dying breed (Hitchhikers) whose parents were more prone to accept it as a way of life for the younger gens… especially males.
Of course Chuck (Manson) & Clan initially put a significant damper on that long before you got goin.
But safe to say hitching part of a missed by-gone Era when things were so much simpler. . though at the time we thought things were whacky AF…which they were but nothing like it's become a few Decades later.
Are you ever thinking about the dangers of hitchhiking?
Funny memory lane, always good for those with an adventurous youth 😉 I´ve hitchhiked only in 4 countries – Greece (many times), Cyprus, France, Austria. But sometimes during night ( because stuck somewhere in a nowhere ), and as a female, aged 20+ 🙂
7:33 best photo ever!
California seems so easygoing, plus great nature, not a good place to live ??
Max Roving is hitching in Europe right now
I'm hoping the puri india is coming. If you had it during rath yatra it be epic..
Back in the day I hitched from Delaware to Kentucky to see Secretariat win the Derby 🎉 Pleasant Journey!
Very nice video gabriel
Beautiful countryside
Any word from your friend Abram? Seems like a real cool, unique dude. One of a kind. I like how he was an expert on palindromes. " Yo, banana boy". Ha, ha
How is the car running… compared to when you had it before a year ago? I’d say it’s a keeper & maybe you can park it at Sterling’s place out there in the field? I’d say to you that you are welcome to park it here at my property in Cincinnati any time you want but you would have to drive the 2200 miles to get here.
👍
✌💙😎
🇨🇦❤👍🇺🇸It is almost imposable to get picked up Hitchhiking now a-days here in Canada not sure about the United States or elsewhere. Thanks Gabriel👍
You were lucky as a blond 8 year old child hitching you were not abducted by some sicko smh
Man,45 years of hitchhiking is a decent amout of time to apply for a hiker's pension!
You think you can get back to the Lost Coast?
I picked you up on Kauai. You're lucky that at the time I had no place to bury a body. 😱 😂
Happy Camp is Bigfoot country? Good to know. Somewhere to stop on my quest for the big guy.
I don't think I would stop for Abram.😂
😊👍✌️
Gabriel, thank you so much for revisiting the place where it all happened. That broken down series and film you made deeply impacted me and was how I first found your channel, right before I embarked on my own hitchhiking and camping adventure for several months across North America. I don’t think it would have been the same without finding your channel, and I still love to look back and watch your videos of the marbles. I just came back from a camping trip in New Mexico (just visiting the US for a few days) and I’m very excited to see what more may come of your travels in this remarkable part of the world… I’ve been loving your recent videos, thanks for making them and keep the good and relaxing vibes coming ✌️
This guy must be a trust fund baby. Does not work, has no career, is obviously not retired. Just use logic, how in the hell does he do this for 45 years? I'm not hating, I love his videos and I watch most of them, but no way in hell does this Dude pull this off without some sort of financial support. Just saying.
The eternal iconoclast
Isn’t that part of CA where you here of strange abductions and other crazy incidents happening?
Also mountain lions, would it be their territory as well, especially when hiking alone?
God.. You remind me of my Grandfather. Telling the same story over and over again during holiday dinner. I can see why Harold mocks you. Move on.
You can watch the movie about my truck breaking down here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVbMF71ZLVA
