Blythe Island Regional Park and Campground

The campground has 97 campsites suitable for RVs and tents, picnic pavilions, tournament horseshoe courts, walking and bike trails, and even a field archery range.
Blythe Island also has a boat launch area, docks, and bait sales. Reservations are required for the campsites during the summer. The Coastal RV Resort and Southern Retreat RV Park are also located in Brunswick, close to Blythe Island and other barrier islands.
Tybee Island
Tybee Island is Georgia’s most popular beach, a short 20-minute drive from Savannah. Hotels, Airbnb facilities, and other short-term rentals are available on this barrier island with three miles of beaches. Special tours are available to look for dolphins and whales in season. The island also offers guided bicycle tours, historic tours, and a Tiki Boat Adventure. Pontoon boats and jet skis can be rented.
Six Flags Over Georgia
Cool off at Six Flags Over Georgia Water Park. This water park offers white water thrills. It is open daily during the summer from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. Enjoy the wave pool, slide pool, Black Rover Fall, Buccaneer Bay, and other water adventures.
Six Flags is located in Austell, west of Atlanta, at 275 Riverside Parkway.
Jekyll Island
Jekyll Island is one of the most popular barrier islands in Georgia, with many activities available to visitors. The eight miles of beaches, golf courses, riding and hiking trails are only a few of the attractions at this famous island. The island has several resorts, short-term rentals, a campground, and Airbnb accommodations.
One of the major attractions of the island is the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. The center is a rehabilitation and education facility for people of all ages, especially children. Sea turtles are often released at Great Dunes Beach Park, part of the island’s biking trail system.
