In this talk, Samora reflected on his journey of self-reinvention, challenging the audience to question the possibilities of reinventing oneself. Through personal anecdotes, he highlight the importance of embracing restlessness, identifying natural talents, and being true to oneself. He advocate for pushing through tiredness to discover and pursue new paths, emphasizing the transformative power of self-reinvention and the continual process of exploration and growth. Samora Akinbulumo is an AIPMM (USA) Certified Product Manager, and a Communications Strategist with ingrained experiences in Product Management, Technical Project Management, Technical Business Analysis and Marketing Communications across multiple sectors. Samora currently works as a Product Manager with Paga (Africa’s foremost Mobile Money Operator), where he serves as the Product Owner for the company’s E-Commerce solution. He is the co-founder of DevFlick, where he provides strategic direction in the core areas of Product & Growth. On days when he’s not “Product Managing”, he finds brilliant expressions as a Writer and Poet, while staying obsessed with his love for power-bikes. With an unused B.Sc. in Geology and an abandoned M.Sc. in Petroleum Geology & Sedimentology, Samora is a strong advocate of self-reinvention and he’s driven by three core principles; BURDEN-BEARING, EMPATHY & LOVE (The B.E.L Blocks).
