As anyone who is married or been in a long-term relationship knows: it’s not always the grand, ostentatious gestures that mean the most. Sometimes it’s the little things. At least that’s how Hailey Bieber was feeling on Tuesday (Oct. 22) when husband Justin Bieber gave her a small gift that had a big impact.
“@justinbieber bough me a plant for no reason,” Hailey wrote on Instagram Stories along with a pic of the tiny present sitting inside a teal planter. “It’s the little things,” she added. Hailey celebrated the couple’s fifth wedding anniversary last month by posting a loving tribute to late fashion designer Virgil Abloh, who designed her eye-popping Off-White wedding gown and veil.
In August, the couple welcomed their first child, Jack Blue Bieber, sharing the news in an Instagram post in which Hailey held her son’s tiny foot. While the couple chill at home with their newborn and new plant, indie singer-songwriter Mk.gee recently revealed that he’s been in the studio with Bieber working on the singer’s first new album since 2021’s Justice album.
Justin has been chronicling his studio time on Instagram, including earlier this week when he posted pics of himself wearing a blue knit cap, red coat, black Umbro shorts and red socks while hunched over a keyboard working on music. The series also included a second, blurry pic of Bieber working the keys along with an unnamed second person wearing a white furry hat as well as several more snaps of JB working a sampler and, of course, getting ready to kiss his wife.
A follow-up post found Bieber — this time wearing yellow Umbros, a black Adidas shit, blue knit cap and black leather shoes — rocking the mic in the studio in a series of shots of him singing. Hailey was on hand on Saturday (Oct. 19) when Justin made a surprise appearance during Don Toliver’s L.A. show at Crypto.com Arena, where he popped out for a live version of their “Private Landing” collab.
Bieber has been mostly off the musical radar since cancelling the 2023-2024 world tour in support of Justice after getting diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which resulted in “full paralysis” on one side of his face.
