Isn't the taxi price increases a lot at night? If it's 120 at day it very well may be 200 at night.
The women’s WTA tennis finals there, I wanted to be there. Hope you can see Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula 🎾
101 of travelling, ask the price before getting in the Taxi, surprisingly your not savvy to this?
1:16 6pm in the evening?
6pm IS the evening!
Serves you right for going to such a disgusting country
Hi Gabe: The moment you showed the currency "Riyal", I knew it was Saudi Arabia. In the beginning, you said "it is 6 pm, in the evening", is there a 6pm in the morning? Just kidding, I guess you were tired. Also curious as to how you managed to pay 200 riyals when you had only 195. Did you give the guy some dollars too?
I much prefer Uber if I can, I've had such trouble with taxi's in many countries! Looking forward to your next video!
CAB DRIVERS are thieves everywhere ! Cant wait for Tesla's CYBER-CAB 💪
For your interest – apartment hotels are very popular throughout the Arabian peninsula. Maybe because locals travel in family groups…
always negotiate price before you go never get in a cab before…kingdom cab drivers never fail to rip you off its been going on for a long time turn him in..they dont mess around and ive seen public executions there…
Gabe which program do you usr to edit and what lap top is that? Im shopping around for laptops – just curious? Safe travels❤️
Ah, I recognize Omonia!!
I have always wondered why vloggers say "I'm not going to tell you where I am going" or "I am going to Cyprus." Sitting at home, I am unaffected either way. P.S. I wouldn't give a nickel to Saudi Arabia.
the handtripod camera guy 😅
lol you surprised? Arab nation has NOTHinG to offer you folks, nothing. All those who will do responses here will come from those who have something to loose .
two mistakes that not even a small primary school child would make Cyprus is in Europe and not only is it in Europe it is the border of Europe and it is also in the European Union. And Turkey is neither geographically nor politically in Europe.
Taxi drivers, so many try to rip people off. Hope things get better for you. Safe travels
Hey Gabriel next time stay in greece for oct 28 if u didn't do this already in the past
Sorry buddy but there is no Palestine
saudia arabia
if u could live anywhere, where would u live?
You’re amazing Gabriel. In a league all by your self.
"Middle East " is Bulls**t term invented by Western colonial powers. Where exactly in "Middle East " you travelled, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, …etc
..thanks for showing us to protect your wallet!!!!!..https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saudi_riyal………..2:01 Good to see you back on the grind❤. Back to serious travels. Nepal?!…big ups to the women who recently shared with you. 👍😎
I love Riyadh. It is such a fascinating city. Sorry you had such a negative experience on arrival.
that was FASC-inating!! so u saved $85?? i'm so confused. just kidding! the lighting was cool in the taxi shot, i wonder if that's a uniform colour or even style for the rest of the city . . .
Why go somewhere where you know is problematic? Only goofy westerns do stupid things like this. First world problems
Amazing… 03:55 those migrants didn't have tickets and were scouting for someone to open the gates with their ticket so that they could get in too…
Gabriel, i am so sorry you had a bad experience with the taxi driver. When I had a late night arrival in Athens, my guesthouse owner sent me a taxi driver whom she knows. So we agreed a fixed rate, and it worked out very well & safe. A lot of times, hotels and guesthouses have contacts with a taxi driver or even the husband of the wife who runs a guesthouse or b&b often does the airport transfers. Anyhow, I’m glad you got there safe.
😊😊😊
In a lot of countries the prices that are charged suddenly go up once they know that you’re an American
I stay there across the street, and the Wyndham Grand my favorite of all the hotels in the Hellenic Republic. thanks for the memories I will return. saludos
Forget the low life taxi driver, only good vibes to you Gabriel.
I WONDER IF THOSE PILLOWS ARE AS THIN AS THEY LOOK ? 😂 🤣 😂
Taxi drivers that rip off tourists. Color me surprised.
This is not Iran
This is not Palestine
This is not Israel
This is ………..Ibiza 🎶
Hi Gabriel. Have you been to the Greek island of "Hyrda"?
Cool beans! Athens offers mild winter conditions, and a low price for the winter season. I highly recommend.
Population athens 600.000. 😅😅
gabes foreign language pronounciation…cringe 😀 😀
You know that the Kumba Mela at Prayagraj is on at the beginning of next year….the one that comes around every 12 years and is the biggest one @gabrieltraveller *hint hint haha. I booked flights back to India for 4 months yesterday for Dec and luck has it that’s on and I’m dying to attend. I’m going to go north Pakistan for spring this trip as well, I’m super pumped. I was inspired by you to get to India by stumbling across your channel in 2017 and went in 2018 and cannot wait to go back. I always wonder why you have not done Pakistan yet.
USA is source of weapons and war.
It looks like a war zone. Do they not have electricity in Athens? I've seen villages in India better lit than that.
Any destination where commute is hard for a tourist is not a place I'll go to.
I wouldnt swap Greece for an islam country as a woman
Welcome to Riyadh.
You just came on the right time of the year. the hot just went away two weeks ago.
That's unfortunate about your Taxi experience. It's always struggle for me when I come to the Riyadh airport and I am even a local citizen.
I strongly suggest to avoid the green taxi because they are hard to negotiate with. I would rather suggest that your rely on Uber to get around
Riyadh is very crowded city in term of car traffic, I would suggest that you utilize the morning time in the weekends but everything is closed.
if you need to meet a local just contact me. no pressure.
Enjoy your day in Riyadh.
Fun Fact since you just came from Greece: The urban planning of Riyadh city was designed by Greek architect called Doxiadis specially the northern part where you are residing right now.
