The 98th edition of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City took place under less than ideal weather conditions, with rainy skies looming overhead. Despite the gloomy weather, performers showed true dedication by braving the cold and putting on a show for spectators. The parade featured a stunning array of giant character balloons, floats, novelty and heritage inflatables, as well as 11 marching bands, 700 clowns, and 10 performance groups.
As the rain softly fell, spectators lined 6th Avenue to catch a glimpse of the impressive floats and balloons making their way down the parade route. From beloved characters like Goku, Bluey, and Luffy, to new “floating wonders” such as Dora’s Fantastical Rainforest and Candy Cosmos by Haribo, there was no shortage of eye-catching displays to delight onlookers of all ages.
Despite the less than perfect weather conditions, the spirit of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade remained strong, with performers putting on a memorable show for all in attendance. The parade once again proved to be a beloved tradition that brings joy and excitement to spectators, marking the start of the holiday season in grand fashion.
