In a historic decision, the United Kingdom’s Parliament voted in favor of a new bill that would legalize assisted dying. The bill passed its second reading, sparking heated debates among lawmakers and the general public alike.
Supporters of the bill argue that individuals should have the right to choose how they end their own lives, especially in cases of terminal illness or unbearable suffering. They believe that assisted dying can provide a sense of dignity and autonomy to those who are facing the end of their lives.
On the other hand, opponents of the bill raise concerns about the potential for abuse and coercion in the implementation of assisted dying. They fear that vulnerable individuals could be pressured into making irreversible decisions about their lives.
The passage of this bill marks a significant step towards legalizing assisted dying in the UK. However, the debate is far from over, as the bill will now face further scrutiny and amendments before potentially becoming law.
As the country grapples with the ethical and moral implications of assisted dying, the decision made by Parliament will undoubtedly have far-reaching consequences for the future of end-of-life care in the UK.

I’m all for it! I certainly don’t want to suffer excruciating pain at the worst days of my life just because my descendants want to keep me alive out of love or social burden or their own selfishness at the cost of my pain.
I’ll include that in my will to make it easier for them too. Don’t waste your life on keeping me alive, go enjoy living your own best years freely!

It’s a line once crossed, will continue to be moved. It’s a slippery slope.
Now, do you think any of the supporters of this will take any type of moral responsibility once the results of that ruling start rolling down hill?
This IS ENGLAND only!!! Not UK. Scotland's government have not yet made this policy re Scots Law (yes Scotland has a seperate law system and always has had!) please amend your report to be accurate and retain your integrity. Thanks.
I had a close friend who had csncer for years, old age and he really wanted the choice to not be confined to a bed in an expensive care home, for more than six months, he just lay there, 'a living death' he would have chosen assisted dying had he gad that choice, he was fully cognitive very intelligent, it was terrible end for him. So be careful in caloing this decision evil, if people at end if life can decide to make their exit more humane, then why stop it. Pets are euthanised to stop them suffering why not humans!!
Delighted! To many making money out of the dieing giving them false hope with useless so called treatments!
What is stopping these people from offing themselves without government assistance?
This is how it starts
Logan's Run hits reality
Western society literally offing itself
Coincidentally it's mostly liberal voters doing this so
People say its for dignity. The government does it for saving money. This is step 1. It wont be the last.
Can we have a vote on the cessation of chemtrails and geoengineering of the weather which are killing us all without any choice in the matter? 😮
Trudeau first
