Hello foodies! Today, I’m excited to share with you my cozy meal ideas for the week in this episode of What I Eat in a Week. As the holidays approach, I decided to take it easy and indulge in some of my favorite comforting dishes that are perfect for this time of year.
To kick things off, I made my go-to Egg Drop Soup and Dumplings. There’s something so soothing about a warm bowl of soup, especially during the colder months. Next up, I whipped up Korean Army Stew, Kimchi Tofu Stew, Spicy Cheesy Rice Cakes, and Crispy Pork Chops and noodles. These dishes are packed with flavor and are guaranteed to warm you up from the inside out.
In between all the cooking, I started reading The Throne of Glass series and I can’t wait to dive deeper into the story. If you’ve read these books, let me know what you think in the comments below! I also shared a mini-book review of some reads from the past few weeks, so don’t forget to share your favorite book of the year with me.
For a cozy date night with my partner Dom, we visited the Burnaby Village Museum and Garden Works, which was a charming and festive experience. And for some girl time, I explored Fort Langley, which is always a fun adventure.
I hope you enjoy this week’s vlog and find inspiration for your own comforting meals. Stay tuned for more delicious recipes and fun adventures in the kitchen. Love you all and see you next week! ❤️
