Passenger footage captures final moments of Kazakhstan plane crash

A tragic plane crash near the city of Aktau in Kazakhstan has resulted in at least 38 fatalities, with just 29 survivors reported so far. The Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 jet was en route from Baku in Azerbaijan to Grozny in the Chechnya region of Russia when it collided with a flock of birds, forcing it to make an emergency landing.

The aircraft, carrying 62 passengers and five crew members, caught fire upon impact and emergency services were quick to respond, extinguishing the flames. The survivors, some of whom sustained injuries, were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The crash site, located approximately 1.8 miles from Aktau, saw doctors and emergency personnel working diligently to aid those affected by the tragedy. Reports indicate that the plane had been rerouted due to foggy weather conditions in Grozny, leading to the fateful accident.

As investigations into the incident continue, thoughts and condolences go out to the families and loved ones of those who lost their lives in this devastating plane crash.
