In this episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy Fieri visits a diner in Indianapolis, Indiana, that may look like your typical comfort food joint, but has a surprising twist – the entire menu is vegan! Guy is joined by his friend and video gamer, Ronnie 2K, as they dig into the vegan Reuben sandwich at the 10th Street Diner.
The vegan Reuben sandwich at this diner is described as “spot-on” by Guy Fieri, which is high praise coming from a seasoned food expert like him. The sandwich is a vegan take on the classic Reuben, featuring all the traditional flavors and textures without any animal products.
To recreate this delicious vegan Reuben at home, you will need some key ingredients such as vegan corned beef, sauerkraut, dairy-free cheese, vegan thousand island dressing, and rye bread.
To assemble the sandwich, start by toasting the rye bread. Then, layer on the vegan corned beef, sauerkraut, and dairy-free cheese. Finally, top it off with a generous drizzle of vegan thousand island dressing.
Grill the sandwich until the bread is crispy and the cheese is melted. Serve it up with a side of your favorite vegan coleslaw or potato chips for a complete meal that will satisfy any craving for a classic Reuben sandwich.
Whether you’re a vegan enthusiast or just looking to switch things up in your menu, this vegan Reuben sandwich is a must-try for anyone who loves delicious comfort food. Guy Fieri’s enthusiastic endorsement of this dish is proof that vegan cuisine can be just as satisfying and flavorful as traditional comfort foods.

It takes a lot to ;e dedicated to be vegan
But Hollyweird told us Gluten was said to be so bad not that many years ago…
I am not even kidding I'm getting goosebumps I literally just told my wife that I'd like to try a Reuben sometime. We live in Indianapolis BTW lmao
I love soyrizo 😂🤣😂
Looks like swamp water pastrami, nah I’m good
Good ol vegan comfort food
Never been to a vegan restaurant but now I'm wishing they had one in my neck of the woods! 🤤
Vegan gross
Is this even healthy after frying food
Vegans always try to make their food look and taste like Meat.
Enjoyed this episode. Things have come a long way in regards to vegan & vegetarian. This is a location that has broken boundaries. Good to see.
I haven’t watched this show in forever and this randomly came up in my YouTube feed. So excited because I live within an hour of this restaurant!
VEGAN Food is Ultra Processed and probably bad for you!
🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱
Lol at all the meat eaters in the comments whining and pretending that Vegan foods are gross when they didnt even try all these items and you would most certainly find they have Vegan ingredients and foods in their cabinets and fridge at home…
Lol, Get real little manBabies… 😉
10 th street diner looks incredible for Vegan food… if I’m ever in Indiana I’m going here for sure! 😊💖
This was interesting to watch. I’d love to try the menu.
This aint it-Gross.. bring me the real thing!
So excited to try this place!
I'm sorry, but they have not made a food yet that's vegan that tastes worth of s*** outside of the salad
Might be good, NOT a Ruben.
That's amazing!!!
Show has great concept, but needs a smart, personable host. Guy’s not funny and thinks we watch only for him. Other show with same concept is so much more watchable. He’s just insulting and of no interest.
This vegan Reuben is not only spot-on, but also a game-changer in terms of accessibility and flavor – Im impressed!
Please publish a cookbook!
3:44 Satan Meats 🤔
Love you too our beautiful GOD'S 666😈😈😈🥰🫶🏳️🌈
My sister once brought me over a tray of vegan sandwiches, I put some costco/Kirkland ham on them, very good sandwiches
Wheat gluten/ the diabetic nemesis of America. I’m fine with being middle of the row. But swapping protein for gluten and starch/ that’s a recipe for diabetes. And i don’t cage whether i eat meat or not!
