The Jeepney aka the Swag Mobile.
👍
This is going to be highly enjoyable to watch. Philippines look like a great place to retire for a Canadian. 🙂
pull that eject lever
I think you would enjoy Camiguin island . Its small with enough things to do . Motorbike hire is 500 pesos a day 👍
Using Jeepneys to get around Cebu is "Hard Mode", I have to have my girlfriend remind me which ones to get on. Props for not just using Grab! Although its probably still a good idea to have it set up on your phone to get you out of a bind
Is there a walking advocacy group in Cebu? Doesn’t look safe with scooters sharing walking path. Stay safe out there as need to see more luxury living contrasting with hectic street scene. Find some decent lumpia. It’s better in a local home like my auntie used to serve. She cooked all my meals and only charged me $450 a month to live in San Francisco back in 1994.
Hey You got to get to moal boal. It just a few hours from the south bus terminal in cebu city. Just get on the air condition bus ask the drivers which bus going to moal boal
The all day buffet in a 3 star hotel sounds like the classic recipe for food poisoning!
Hi Gabriel, there's no doubt that developers are looking for cheap land investments to build these resorts as many of these countries started industrializing and moving away from agricultural to industrialized nations. I would say Mexico is a good example of that. India and China over the past 50 years.
Ghana West Africa has tricycles.
It's a jitney. (Sounds like you're saying Jeep knee.)
Man, what a way to start off a year Canada Mexico, Hawaii Tahiti, New Zealand now the Philippines looking forward to see what’s next
Mati is a nice beach town, on eastern side of Mindanao island. Not as slow as Siargao, but still rustic. Might be good idea to avoid General Santos area. Mabuhai!
Honestly, this is such an uninteresting destination and seemingly a waste of several days. Perhaps a little bit of research ahead of time could have saved you a visit here…
It just got interesting.
Number on, let’s gooooo
I am so ready for this, but wait, you’re already going to Taiwan? 😂
Man, have you heard of Balut? I’d stay away from it.. but lumpia and Adobo yes. A lot of good food but the Balut, kinda disgusting
Hey Gabriel ! Very nice and entertaining … Keep up the excellent work ! 🙂
Cool. Like the look of the Philippines so far even if my grubby 25 yr old Rough Guide to SE Asia describes Mactan as 'a monument to bad taste' 😂
Did they have Kopi Luwak coffee there at the Civit?
🏖 🌊 🌞
Pretty cool days on the island. Hope the rest of the trip to the Philippines is good, too.
I was hoping you would visit IT Park in Cebu, I think it takes some time to see this area though, I wanted a preview as I'nm considering a visit. Fairly Westernized area popular with expats.
