Why aren't they focus on cleaning up the mess and turning it into dry land to prevent it from spreading diseases everyday?

Pholourie is a snack food that originated in India and is popular in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Suriname. It's a fritter made from spiced dough balls that are deep-fried and served with chutney.
How it originated
Migrants from India brought pholourie to the Caribbean in the 19th century.
They adapted their recipes to use ingredients available in their new home.
Over time, local tastes changed, leading to the Indian-based cuisine that's part of Trinidadian food today.
Ingredients
Ground split peas
Flour
Baking powder
Seasonings like turmeric, cumin, garlic, pepper, and onions
I looked up puff puff
Puff puff is a fried dough made from flour, yeast, sugar, butter, salt, water, and sometimes eggs

Amazing david!! You are doing Nigéria 🇳🇬 justice!!!!
Hi David how things 😊
I was in Nigeria in 2012 and saw this village in person. I was shocked that people actually lived on water. Coming from America, I didn’t understand how a government would allow this type of living. I looked it up more once returning home. I saw they were going to get rid of the Shante town on the water but I was under the impression the people were going to be relocated. It has grown since I was there. The crowding of Lagos was crowded enough, my anxiety rises thinking of living on the water. I pray for the people of this village.🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Nice bald guy, welcome to Morocco my friend
I’m just in shock about this village on water. The Nigerians I was with didn’t really explain to me that the Shanty (I had never heard of until my visit) village on water was functioning as it is. I was under the impression these are homeless people and the government will soon remove them. In America homelessness looks different. I’m just so shocked. My Afrikan ancestry is 43% Nigerian but the ones I encountered were not good. I would’ve better here in this Shanty village.
A Japanese restaurant in the slump of Nigeria thats a good mix of culture!! The school os really too dark they need some light wow l though the boats were go to crash in to each other that was very close
OMG, the Nigerian Suya can’t be beat. No matter what recipe I follow from YouTube, I can’t get the Nigerian street suya flavor. I had 2 oks daily wrapped in newspaper with fresh sliced red onion. Mmmm mmmm good.
This place is sooo…brautiful…the houses on the water….boats….and the people….very hardworking l….very interesting Nigeria series…Thanks David as always be safe on all your travels..Peace.

The eco system of the water ? It’s full of rubbish why pollute the water u have to live on I don’t get it there is others countries with communities built on water with crystal clear water why trash the place they have to live in there own filth by choice
David I'd say puff puff is similar to festival in Jamaica, not pholourie
You are not fault that your Country are poor but You Are Fault That You Dont Keep It Clean 😊It doesnt matter what a home you have you can keep it clean
