With all of the hits that Dawn was a part of as a member of En Vogue, Dawn should be able to create her own incarnation of En Vogue, and go on tour, regularly. I see other successful group members do this method to make money all of the time!
I remember seeing her in concert in 1990
I wanna help her.
I know pently of places she could stay
Did u catch that she got into it with her mom? She got into it with Lucy Peal & Envogue members. ITS HER!!
This should not be a new normal. No one should be forced to have to live on the streets or in their car. It is unacceptable. Unless you have an RV, and that is something you planned to do. It sounds like she had very little support and few options, so she came to terms with what she has to deal with. How sad it is that we as a society are OK to see our fellow human beings in dispar and do nothing. She had friends, band members, and agents. If her family deserted her for whatever reason, it's sad to think that no one could help her for a time until she could get back on her feet. Life happens to us all. Need we go back just a few short months ago to the LA fire victims who lost everything and are still attempting to recover. Or people being laid off in droves and can't find jobs. I don't know the full story or her choices, but we as a society really need to rethink how we treat people. This is becoming an epidemic. Then we look down on homeless people and turn our nose up at them and blame them for being on the street, and consider them useless. Or people on welfare. Yes, there are a wide range of reasons for a persons state. But there should with that be a wide range of resources to meet the needs and get them back on track. Some don't want to change. True. But conversely, many of them do. Our politicians are far from poor and living on the streets and in their cars, so how come the people who voted for them to support us are doing so poorly?
Someone, if you can find her, please help this lady and any other person you see in need. Just out of being a decent human being. It may not come back to you one way, but God will bless you for your kindness and support when you have a need, too.
God bless everyone, and Christ be with you always.
Save & Invest kids…. Save & invest!!!
😮😢
Always read your contracts , we don’t know what she’s done or how much money she’s touch ? Why didn’t she invest buy properties?
Makes no sense 😢
This is terrible
No!! I might do Van life. I’ve been thinking about this.
I'm not gonna lie, It sucks that for someone as beautiful and talented as she is to have to live in her car but on the flip side, it kinda seems like a good idea if you can land a safe spot. Rent and Mortgage prices are out of control and no one should have to do 50 million side hustles and work 4 jobs just to get by.
None of the older generations had it this bad so living in a car and saving all of your money for retirement doesn't sound like a bad idea. Rent free, more savings, get gym membership for 30 bucks a month, and your literally saving yourself TONS of money. Just find a comfortable car to do it in. Seen a lot people going through this and it does sound more liberating than it does diblitating! 🤷
❤❤❤
Speak your truth. Queen
She's still very pretty ❤
The music industry is a scam and a ripoff..I hope that she can get on her feet..😩🙏🏿
How does a person live in their car for that long? You still have to get your plates renewed with an address attached so whose car is she using and why aren't they allowing her to live with them? She has to have an income from SOMEWHERE to maintain herself. She shares quite a bit so I don't think she would be embarrassed if she got a job somewhere and somebody did her like Geoffrey Owens.
Sorry, no excuse for living in her car. She needed to get an ordinary job(s). It’s called “hustle for survival”
I'm about to go live in my car. Rent and egg prices are too high.🤦🏽♂️
WOW She did not save for a Rainy day her financial affairs were not in order.
I love Dawn. She was always my favourite. But it’s always someone else fault. It was En Vouge’s fault, it was Lucy Pearl’s fault, it was the managers fault and now she’s also fallen out with her Mother. She always blames someone else 😬😬🫣🫣
We love you, wish you only the best. 💗
She can move in with me! 😍
Living in a car what did she do with her millions?
I would go out on a limb here and say that I feel that she has mental health issues. Not withstanding that if you cannot find a job going on tour, singing in a bar. Why not start a You Tube channel or work a 9-5 that is what we all do.
If your own mother will not let you stay with her that speaks VOLUMES!
