Molly Gordon, Logan Lerman’s ‘Oh, Hi!’ Lands at Sony Pictures Classics

Molly Gordon and Logan Lerman‘s dark romantic comedy “Oh, Hi!” has landed at Sony Pictures Classics.

The sophomore feature from “The Boy Downstairs” writer-director Sophie Brooks debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January. In “Oh, Hi!,” Iris (Gordon) and Isaac’s (Lerman) first romantic weekend getaway as a couple goes awry. Convinced that he’s just confused, Iris goes to extreme lengths to prove to him that they are meant to be together. Geraldine Viswanathan and John Reynolds also star.

In an essay penned for Variety earlier this year, Brooks opened up about the inspiration for the film. “Now, in this current modern world of dating and hooking up, where relationships can take so many forms and there are so many options and choices for labels and intentions, the romantic world is rife with possibilities of miscommunication. The likelihood of different interpretations of conversations and situations leads to newer ways and reasons that women can be called crazy and men can be called assholes,” she wrote.
