The helipad is above you on level 50 or 51 @34:30
The city reminds me of how it use to be here .
This whole block including the tower and the French Treasury building infront used to be the the site of the old Ben Thanh market before the current one was built, that was why the market called Ben Thanh (City Port) according to history people used to go to Ben Thanh market by boats.
Rumors had it the site of the idle building has bad fungshui. In the 90s they cleared land and put on the render for 36 storeys Hilton hotel, 1997 the Asia financial crisis hit and everything stalled for a decade, they turned it into a parking lot. Later broke ground for the current tower but it shared the same fate after completing the framework, a decade later they revived it by glass cladding on one side and put on LED lights, and the CEO lady got arrested.
If you visited all the high schools in Saigon and Vietnam in the 90s early 2000s it was a sight to behold as hundreds of students in white ao dai flooded the streets. Today some school changed to couple days a week and some just modern day uniforms.
