Beautiful is for sure. Thank you for sharing.
Hi Gabe. What was "intense" about your Palopsnese drive? Just curious as I was planning a similar trip this month but had to cancel for personal reasons. I plan to do it next year, plus a couple weeks in Turkey. Thanks for all the "work" you put into your travel vlogs. I have been a follower for 10 years.
Thank you Gabriel 😊❤ for videos of beautiful Greece 🇬🇷 💙 😎🌊
Wow, this was filmed on May 19th?
I just stumbled upon this video on Saturday the 24th of May.
The rest of the world owes so much to Greeks, those who preceded them, and the Romans.
Next best thing after Greece? Magna Grecia Calabria, Sicily!
Glad you went to Santorini!
So nice episodes ❤
The Myceneans were not pre greek. They were greek. The greek heros- warriors of the Iliad and Odyssey by Homer like Agamemnon Menelaus Achilles Ulysses Helen of Sparta Clytemnestra etc lived in that time period of the Mycenean era ie Bronze Age Greece
hope you stick around Greece as much as possible and come back again and again.
26:21 — Gabriel, have you given up telling us about what you eat, and how much what you eat, costs?
If you want to relax , you should visit Ikaria…. It is also a Blue Zone..
You missed so much Gabriel. Next time..
Amazing video 💖💖💖
Incredible walk through history
Argolis is the region where Argos is. And Argolic gulf, the gulf in front of it.
Good luck to you ❤❤❤
Probably Turkey is next
I see you like it there. The food, weather and such. But it seems rather boring. I've been.
I love that music that you played around time stamps 7:14 to 8. That cat that was napping when you were having breakfast was very cute. I know that you usually play that music in your Greek videos. I always enjoy hearing it.
This was a wonderful series of videos. Thank you.
Hello. Argolis is the name of the area/county. Argos is the name of the city.
Preexisting Mycenae (according to the legend is the place Perseus was born under the rule of his
grandfather and after his adventures Perseus had founded Mycenae).
Mycenaeans were Greek because their language was ancient Greek written in linear B script.
Many tablets had been found. Also they believed in the Olympian Gods.
According to mythology and legends Mycenae was founded by Perseus (who killed Medusa).
Very good series, congratulations! You missed some things as Mycenaeans tombs that are unbelievable ancient structures, the two castles of nafplio, mystras and ancient Sparta where not much is remaining but you feel the location with the mountain of taygetos above, some of mani, so much to see in peloponisos! Maybe next time, generally spring is the best time as the weather is not very cold and hot and the countryside is more green with many flowers
Good morning Gabriel from Argos!!
Thank you for visiting most of the places i had suggested. Indeed, Mycenae and Epidaurus are remarkable archaeological sites all over the world.
I feel happy that I was born and live in this area (Argos). On Monday May 19, I went up to the castle of Argos (Larissa) in the morning for a job. I didn't know that you would come. By pure chance we didn't meet. It doesn't matter, we will definitely see each other next time. There's so much more in the wider area that you should see.
Greetings from Argolida.
Good luck with your wanderings.
Gabriel we wait for you in Lavrio, enjoy!!
Glad you got to Mycenae. The entrance to the temple has an almost Incan vibe
Hi Gabriel, that theatre was enormous by any standard. They built such a massive stage and seating size that it must have been the Hollywood Bowl of its time. How critical were these forts or castles in ancient times for defending the territory all over Europe? You'll find designs with moats and high walls. The biggest drawback was that the incoming army could lay siege to the fort or castle for prolonged periods of time, waiting patiently to open its front gate. Of course, over time, the catapult changed the way forts and castles were attacked, making it easier to breach the walls of the castles, at times knocking down sections of the weak parts of the castles, making castles and forts obsolete.
Well done Gabe, and as i can see you are staying in Perissa🤓
👍👍👍
You didn't go to the Treasury of Atreus (Tomb of Agamemnon)
Just watched Backpacker Ben's latest video from Georgia & Gabriel gets a shout out from Ben as the 'OG travel vlogger'! 👍
Churches tend to be locked more frequently whenever Gabriel appears in Greece 😅
I wish he would visit African countries… He's missing out on so much…
Hi Gabriel, hope you are well? One question been meaning to ask, please? In your world travels have you got a rabies jab and how do you generally try and stay well? Thank you for any reply. Kind regards Gerry
After years of watching, i finally have a complaint. No bird turds on windshield please. Thx
if you've never been to Zakynthos Island, it looked like a great place to chill and relax. Plus, the beaches looked practically secluded and miles long, with azure waters. Looking forward to the next Adventure.
I’ll be traveling to china 🇨🇳 in 2 weeks
Safe travels Gabe, I lived in Perissa for 19 years. I miss that life.
Actually surprised to see you in Santorini, i would expect …Sisily. Ever considered to do the Fira to Oia hike? (it's somewhat ''demanding' though could take 4+ hours ,bring your own water+snacks ,but now it's the best time, no heat ,no crowds).
You should change your name to GREEK TRAVELER
Hi, I’ve just had to cancel going to Kos because of the earthquake effects and taking someone with walking difficulties seems silly. Did you feel any tremors or power cuts please. I’d love to see a video on how you afford to keep travelling please. I’ve been to Greece but not some of the places you’ve been to, it’s beautiful 😍
