With sodium-ion batteries potentially offering a longer lifespan and faster charging, how do you think the automotive industry will handle the transition from lithium-ion technology, especially in terms of infrastructure and consumer adoption?
Given that sodium-ion batteries are much more affordable to produce, will this lead to a significant drop in the cost of electric vehicles and make EVs more accessible to the average consumer? How soon do you think that could happen?
How fast do you think these sodium-ion batteries will be in terms of full recharge times?
If sodium-ion batteries perform better in extreme cold temperatures, could this technology help expand the adoption of electric vehicles in colder regions like Canada, Scandinavia, and northern Russia where lithium-ion batteries typically struggle?
Sodium-ion batteries can last up to 15,000 charge cycles compared to lithium-ion’s typical 1,000-2,000. How will this extended lifespan impact the overall cost of ownership for electric vehicles and battery storage systems?
I love how this is more environmentally friendly—no more child labor in cobalt mines!
Cool!😎

🥰🥰🥰
I think they are smoking that same strong stuff that you do. None of that fast charge, long life or high energy is available in any production volume batteries.
Human intelligence is proportional to the extensibility of time through the satisfaction of the existential needs of humanity related to it
Thank you for showing me your progress for a better world.
Elon Musk is one of the fallen angels/ demons that got kick out from heaven for their rebellion. A lot of them are in this generation ( celebrities, politicians, scientists) Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon🙏🏼❤️🕊Repent, believe in the Gospel, Be Born Again
I feel like this video will be a tough competitor to the water powered engine video I saw. I miss the good old days of cold fusion though.
Will this battery be in the sports car he promised to bring out again 10 years ago? Or the Semi Truck that he promised 6 years ago.
Is it saver than byd baterai on Sodium? I hope more
Lithium is the Betamax of EVs. It started a revolution but sodium is VHS. Sodium, for now, is slightly inferior to Lithium in performance. But its cheaper and won't cause an inferno that cant be extinguished. One day, Lithium will be banned from underground parking lots and that will be the end of the Lithium EV era. Solid state is DVD and Graphene is Netflix.
Welcome Finland 👍🇫🇮👍🌲 Forest man

I wonder if his car is gonna start talking about “white geno€ide as well;)
These battery revelation videos are like orbiting hotels, and flying cars. It’s a bunch of bullshit and I highly doubt that Elon has anything to do with this information.
Still relying on China! for magnets!
Terrible AI narrator or a really stupid human. The EV ? Couldn’t say Eevee?
Unbelievable nonsense
Just ask?
BYD forced them!
Has anyone seen how sodium reacts to water?…You think lithium is bad???…..
Battery efficiency is important too
Elon Musk is a con artist. This isn't anywhere near ready to scale for public.
and this is a GenAI video. Don't fall for this AI propaganda crap.
