The greatest hourse ever
Secretariat was the greatest racehorse in my lifetime.💯🥇👏❤️🇺🇸
Secretariat was such a great horse because his heart was bigger than most horses.
Look at him! What a creature. Even in the video, you can feel his power. RIP Secretariat !❤
Let's go loved it ❤ 0:22
I saw him win that race in 73 & it still gives me chills. Magical ❤
He came from a farm that was breeding for large hearts. His was about twice the size of a regular thoroughbred. It pumped huge amounts of oxygen. That's a large part of what kept him going. He was magnificent and loveable. My favorite horse.
He was gorgeous!
He was a once in a lifetime horse!
I will rember you always met you at aksarben racetrack in omaha nebraska hope you and bigred are still winning in the biggest racetrack of all ❤
The greatest athlete to ever walk through earth
Thank you 60 Minutes for calling it correctly, his Belmont time of 2:24 was a WORLD record. And probably never to be touched. RIP Secretariat, Ron Turcotte, Penny Chenery, Lucien Laurin, and Eddie Sweat.
“Hello world here I am. He was my horse before he belonged to the world.” This was lovely. RIP Secretariat, Penny, Ron, Lucien, Eddie, Charlie, and Jim. All gone from this earth now, but not forgotten by those of us who were alive back then and experienced the excitement of watching that beautiful chestnut colt run as he was meant to run.

R.I.P. Ron and Secratariat❤️🙏
Fly high riding the rocket from cloud to cloud Ron
RIP Ron Turcotte.
“Secretariat by 12, Secretariat by 14 lengths on the turn. Sham is dropping back. It looks like they’ll catch him today, as My Gallant and Twice a Prince are coming up to him now.
But Secretariat is all alone! He’s out there almost a sixteenth of a mile away from the rest of the horses. (It wasn’t quite that far, but close enough.) Secretariat is in a position that seems impossible to catch…
"CHIC ANDERSON
Secretariat still holds the record times in all three triple crown races!!!!
RIP Ron. Big Red is waiting for you. ❤
Ron and the team are all together now❤❤
I was lucky enough to be able to go to all three races. I was 14 and I will never forget it.
Read a fascinating book by Eddie Sweat who was secretariat’s groom. A real insiders view of the horse racing game and of the great horse himself.
