Watching from my very small hotel room in Tokyo. Gabe traveler hits different on the road
😊❤🇧🇦🏔🗻⛰
The Catedral de Segovia looks like it would be a really awesome cathedral to explore. ❤💛❤
Aren’t you gonna do Camino, Gabe?
I have yet to experience a European winter. I was supposed to go to Germany last December to spend Christmas with my daughter and son in law, who live there. Unfortunately had to cancel that trip, due to various circumstances. I was really looking forward to experiencing my first Christmas market. Ah well maybe this year.🤞Judging by the little taste of Segovia, I think it’s going to be an amazing city even in the rain. Thanks for showing your train journey, really enjoying your winter European adventure. 🇪🇸❤️
Some places in Southern Europe you can get decent weather in January/February with winter sun and highs ranging from around 15 to 18 C possibly even nudging 20 C (e.g Southern Spain, southern Italy and Greece).
Great video
I went on the Ave train (high speed) out of Atocha train station and had my bags X-rayed. Seems strange you did not. I went Madrid to Barcelona.
Amazing 👏😊
RIght on right one, you are back dude to Europe. Look forward to all the places I always wanted to go to, but ya know I only have 6 weeks paid vacation a year. And I get paid an average good Czech salary. Ha ha,,I got a few side hustles. Hey, Dude i took my 12 year old apple phone and started screwing around making videos. I am still pretty clueless. I been watching your stuff, man I think almost 10 years now. I have seen every one of your videos most of the Greece ones twice. Me and Moma the wife are your biggest fans. I am the dude that grew up in the No Cal just like you and we graduated from High School the same year…I been in Europe on and off since 93 Germany and Ceska Republika. I am 6 vids behind but i should be caught up by Sunday. Glad you are back Mr. Gabe…You got you some more Islands to visit. Watch some of my food here in Bohemia. I am still learning the ropes, I am so old fashioned i probably should get one of those sticks you have and a different phone. But i have 3 and they all work. Apple on i can hold with one hand and its over 10 years old. Looking forward to Elatha,,,,Elinika Hellas…My very last course, night school Georgia State University was Modern Spoken Greek. When you escaping reality for 20 + years. Its time to end your journeys and face reality while its still not to late
great video Gabe! loved it 😀
What continent is your favourite Gabriel?
Hi Gabriel, One plus about travelling in Spain is the great rail system. If you have any interest, the Southern area of France just north of Spain has some amazing old villages worth visiting. Enjoy the rest of your travels.
Thanks for putting the food prices!
Glad you are giving cost breakdowns. Things seem expensive but is a huge help for anyone trying to hit Europe on a budget. We went last summer and it was surprisingly affordable but checking this years things are way up on most things
😊traveler travels so we slugs dont have to — BRAVO !!!
Gabriel also try salamanca its not far from segovia its a beautiful and historic city enjoy spain😂😂
You should come to Split.
Do you ever get decision fatigue from trying to find hotels flights getting around finding things to do?
Always have such a hard time finding a hotel for a reasonable price and it gets so annoying
I really enjoy your videos. You’ve tapped into approachable budget friendly travel that feels really grounded in experience over hype.
I might be more sensitive than others, but sometimes the panning of a space makes me have to turn away from the screen. I think slowing the video down in post can still allow your audience to take in the scene without the unintended dizzying effect.
I know this work is tough and relentless, so please take this comment as a slight tweak on already great work.
Looking forward to your next adventure!
Because you don’t need to book any hotels in advance or transportation. I did it October-April 2005-2006
Spain in the winter…perfect choice.
germany was super cheap in january when i went last year!
i have visit the Iberian Peninsula must times in Winter, is beautiful , and affordable. saludos too the IberoVisigoth
Can you make a video showing the old IberoVisigoth Niceo Roman Churches. Better than Puerto Rico. saludos
Those food prices.. my god.. and I thought Spain was supposed to be one of the cheaper countries. The weak dollar makes things even worse for us Americans. 😩
Hey Gabe, did the new eu entry system kick in yet?
Hmmm…just noticed a severe flood warning for The Iberian Peninsula and Morocco… might wanna check that out.
CAN YOU LOSE THAT SHITTY INTRO – EVERYONE HAS TO KEEP SKIPPING IT!!!!
Wow! That dinner is dumb expensive. After seeing five old towns I'm done with Europe. Greece is a exception. Asia is a great value for money and full of diversity. For those who like to 💩 on India. Majority of you don't even know how old India is. Btw, look where you're living, things are falling apart. Economy tanking, and what about those so called constitutional rights? Guess that was all smoke and mirrors, huh? Stick around it's just about to kick-off like never before. As you Americans love saying FAFO.
👍👍👍
Of course one area Europe gets more expensive in winter is the ski resorts, but that also means you can get some amazing deals in ski resort towns outside of ski season. I was paying less than half the winter cost to stay in ski hotels while hiking in the Pyrenees a few summers ago. Also had a few days in Bankso (Bulgaria) a couple Autumns ago for less than half price. It was also so quiet there that I often had the entire swimming pool, sauna and steamroom areas to myself for hours! That was also the tail end of a hiking trip but I got injured just before walking into Bankso, turned into perfect excuse to spend a cheap week in spa hotels.
😎
Of course, even the southern parts of Europe are not immune to winter, winter is still winter.
The website Rome to Rio would easily outline which bus you had to take from the train station to your specific hotel destination. Try it! You’ll like it…
It's been colder than usual this winter in Spain and Portugal.
You have to get further south to the Canary Islands or Cape Verdes.
So glad you had the suckling pig that Segovia is famous for!
Hey BTW, when I sit here wondering how our beautiful USA turned into a hostile Dictatorship with its own Stazi (ICE), Bondi, Witkoff, Hegseth and the Orange, your videos are a great relief, so keep it coming please!
Asia is where it's at. Europe gets a bit boring.
