Unveiling Glacier Bay
Most visitors glimpse Glacier Bay from the decks of cruise ships, but we chose a more immersive experience. After a scenic flight to Gustavus, we checked into the only lodge within Glacier Bay National Park. With two nights surrounded by nature, we had the opportunity to fully embrace the beauty of this remote area.
Thrilling Boat Tour
Our full-day boat tour, equipped with a knowledgeable National Park Service ranger, took us deep into the heart of Glacier Bay. We cruised past towering tidewater glaciers, watched for whales and sea otters, and took in the incredible wildlife—all while learning about the park’s unique geology and rich Indigenous culture.
A Day to Remember
From Bartlett Cove to stunning seabed views, this day was filled with awe-inspiring sights. We’ve captured every moment, including our journeys through lush rainforests, exciting wildlife encounters, and the jaw-dropping sight of calving glaciers. You won’t want to miss our breathtaking sunset at the end of the day!
