Tinted windows not so good at night. The headlights look like they need cleaning. Plastic is affected by UV, normally a compound is used with abrasives to remove the top layer of weathered plastic, and they look like new. Another compound is used to seal the job and protect against UV. You can buy the paste at auto shops and do it yourself with a microfiber cloth, or its an inexpensive job at an auto repair place.
Hey Gabriel, just wondering if you are noticing less stamping of passports in you travels. We have noticed more countries not stamping as they are updating to electronic checkpoints. Have to say we miss getting stamps. We love collecting and keeping old passports just for the stamps as proof of our travels. Thanks again for you life update 🙂
If you take the east side of lake tahoe, there's tons of things to see. Carson city, Fallen leaf lake… And the numerous home wineries just to the southwest of lake Tahoe!!! I'm not just talking about the wine. I'm just talking about how wonderful the wineries are!!! Some of the best people you would ever want to meet!!! PS if you go north of Lake tahoe, stop by Tahoe City and check out Fanny Bridge! A lot of History passed through this domain!!! AKA Donner party?
Welcome back US videos 👍. You should convert the Honda remove the front seat make a bed frame maybe you can do it without removing the back seats
Thanks for the video, Gabe! Fantastic to see you're doing well and have your wheels back! Looking forward to your next adventure, wherever that may be! 🚙
It's so odd that you ended up with (and were able to end up with) your old car, Gabriel. I hope it feels like an old friend. I help people in my US state deal with their car issues all the time and it can be challenging and costly, so I appreciate your struggle and am glad you have things ironed out. Props. I hope you are able to have many more adventures.
I like honda check on the legality of the window improvement , very expensive fines here in the grate Republic of Texas, probably in communist California will give ICE officer Rodriguez reason to deport you to Canada via Cuba. . you mom Rocks. saludos
Dang Gab, sounds like its better to travel.
Cars were so much better before 2018 or so. Ive been interested in 2010 to 2014 Pilots as I hear they are still quite reliable. Nice little Honda you have, Gabe!
I think AZ would have a hard time with windshield tint….it's illegal below the top line of manufacture tint on windshield…I had to look it up, I had never seen windshield tint before….on the other hand, I think we can skip owners on title transfers…….PS some mechanics put the old CRV in their most reliable cars of all time category…..
I was told by a CHP Officer that I know to just go get a doctor's note and leave it in your glove box for the tinted windows just in case you do get pulled over for it. Anyways I would have given you a ride to Reno as my old backpacking buddy lives not far from Lake Mendocino and I could have made a trip out of it. Glad you're visiting Family and having a nice break. I gave my Honda CRV to my Daughter and it runs great, best car ever.
P.S. I personally would have the tint removed from the front, that isn't going to fly even in Nevada where I live!
Great story of how you got your car back. It was meant to be! Looking forward to maybe seeing some road trips. Cheers. ✨❤️
You can get another 10 years out of that car – easy. My last car had 280K. Hoping to beat that on this one. Good to see you back. Been watching you a lot of years.
27:04 > you didn't notice you got Tessie…aka The Loch Ness Monster on film
People try their entire lives to film ol' Tessie….. you happen to catch her & didn't even notice.. SMH
I'm so glad you got your car back! Great to hear how it's going.
We missed your calm positivity, but get the new osmo action 6. You deserve it brother.
Go back to Banff/Jasper.
I am glad that it all worked out for you and you have your car back. A road trip sounds really nice to follow along with.
Great to see the CRV alive and kicking!
19:49 19:50 19:55 20:01 Gabriel…I do hope you are aware of socialist/ Marxist/communists taking over our nation?! Could affect your future travels…so please vote while you're here. I'm glad you got your car back but wow to the tinted windows! Sry to be extreme but it's a reality. Glad you are back home! Santa rosa is beautiful! My sister was an officer in bizerkley. Was involved in the young woman who attempted to kill the campus chancellor with a machete many years ago.
Nice you got in a break and got your car back, looks great too! My 26 y.o. Honda also still cruising along, love it. But if I were back home, would buy a Chevy Brightdrop 400 EV and convert to a campervan. GM discontinued them so can get for a song now.
Cool ! I've not been there in decades.
I love your USA walking story telling videos 🎉
that front tint gonna get you a ticket especially in cali
When you were talking about your school days and graduation, I realized that we’re about the same age. And at that moment, I thought: "Wait a minute. Isn't Gabriel in his forties?"
I’ve been watching your videos for 8 or 9 years, and you did mention your age back in the early days. But my brain never updated that information—so, in my mind, you’re still in your forties.
How old are you actually? 😁
Gabriel, Very nice Decision of Sold Car back brought in More Doller pay for this car, S
