Heartbreaking. I know a woman who was torn from her children and arrested due to the lies of her ex and his attorney. Transferred the next day to a jail 250 miles away having no idea why she was arrested. Over three days later, finally before a judge, when she said she had no idea why she was their, the judge started choking. It destroyed hers and her children's lives. It's a horror story.
Prime example of how lazy, and inept our legal system is. It could happen to anyone
History is full of stories of villains and heroes. It's pretty shocking to see that the villains in this case are those that took an oath to uphold and defend every citizen's connotational rights and follow the laws as written to ensure justice for all. Thankfully, the heroes rose to the occasion, and true justice was finally served. The niece was weak willed and did not strongly stand up and say, NO, the culprit had ''brown eyes, NOT blue''. Instead, she folded like a cheap suit. She was old enough to know better, so, stop defending her and let her bear the weight of her irresponsibility and feel the damage it caused. 🤨 🤔
Who votes for these judges???
Clarence, what a beautiful man.
May all your dreams come true +
May the peace of the Lord Jesus Christ be always with you.
They are crooked in Akron.
The system needs to be investigated and prosecuted for its wrong doings
Or the people need to stand and execute the wrongdoings
God bless you Clarence, you were robbed. But God has His hand in your life!
This is why I don't believe in the death penalty.
Prayers for Brooke and the jury. To err is human.
So heartbreaking how many innocent people are intentionally allowed to remain incarcerated because judges and attorneys with hold evidence for whatever reasons.
Clarence comes across to me as a good man who has found some kind of inner peace and equilibrium.
His now ex—wife has put so much effort into getting him out, maybe she just needs a man who has nothing to do with the case to help her find the same as she was I. A kind of prison too….
Frigging half ass judicial system.
Exposes a wildly corrupt judicial system. 37:19
24:45 AG, Jim Petro, incorrectly explains how "No one wants an innocent man in jail", ???? Authorities did NOT want to admit they made a horrible decision.
#1 SUPER-STAR(REAL SUPER-WOMAN was his wife. She did 99% of the key investigation. Melinda Elkins Dawson (First Wife-SUPER-STAR(REAL SUPER-WOMAN ).
Marriage: High school sweethearts, married on June 14, 1981, and divorced in 2007. They had two children together.
After Clarence was wrongfully convicted in 1999 of a brutal crime against her family, Melinda Wife Works To Free Husband Convicted In Mother's Death refused to believe he was guilty.
Investigation: She acted as an investigator, tracked down clues, and helped obtain the DNA evidence that proved neighbor Earl Mann was the real attacker. Her work led to Clarence's release in 2005.
After Divorce: They divorced amicably due to the heavy strain of the prison years, and she married Patrick Ray Dawson in October 2007. She continues her work as a victim advocate and speaker against wrongful convictions.
42:04 Spoiler alert, "who done it" answer.
Why didn't they do a rape kit on the litte girl?ridiculous
I would have caught a murder charge right there in prision if I had to face that man
The filthy Rotton pigs didn't do their job.they just wanted anyone and close the case and the judge should be in jail.
oh wait i forgot he is a sovereign citizen.. The law doesn't count for him
Judges, prosecutors, detectives and cops were USELESS in hunting down that criminal!!!
💯
Strange coincidence, but the girl who this bastard raped said that the man who raped her has brown eyes….but this bastard have blue eyes!
Well at least DNA doesn't mistake!
Clarence Elkins is a great soul who could say ' God have mercy on you'. Sad that Melinda and Clarence couldn't stay together
This guy was F'ed over by EVERYONE here except by the law offices fighting for him. The niece owes a sincere apology to him. I realize she was only 6 and traumatized deeply, but she specifically named him directly and repeatedly. ANY good police / legal mind wants to believe and protect her. And she's surely not 6 now. As for the wife, we have no idea when she came onboard to defend her husband, then she moved on with another man / men while he was still captive. Hope Clarence is doing well, has a good job, and good woman at his side.
Thank-You to All The Angels who fought for Justice! Clarence is a heck of a Good Guy! Hopefully The million$ he gets from this Lawsuit against those who were responsible for not doing their job- that needs to be Filed!
I have a nephew spending time in prison for murder he did not do evidence that proves he is innocent but a relative testify under oath Lied against his own cousin, 2 2/5 years to date. The small town and county no evidence right now we fighting for him very well known case being televised. I going to save your story .
It's clear the original prosecutor didn't want to review or re-open the case because this would pretty much destroy their careers. I'm so glad Clarence has his Harley, house, new gf and a fat bank account. He deserves it after going through the nightmare he has.
Isn’t it great that a rapist is getting in and out and innocent people get a multi decade sentence
Everything that was taken from that family (farm) should be returned!!! And the money should be paid by the state
I remember this and he was really innocent
