Food is probably one of the clearest ways immigrant communities preserve identity across generations. 🇷🇺🌴 Seeing borscht, pelmeni, Olivier salad, smoked fish and traditional pastries thriving in South Florida shows how a neighborhood can carry pieces of another country thousands of miles away. “Little Moscow” is interesting not just for the restaurants, but for what those foods mean to people who associate them with home.
