From what I've noticed most Arabs, and Muslims in general don't like that country and refer to it as Palestine. I refer to it as Palestine too.
Something is missing!No comment,here!
Beautiful Egypt.
Are you planning on going to St. Cathrine monastery? A place I
Really want to go and see.
Hope to see you in Hurghada.
❤
Thought you were going to say interesting boat…..not painting. I saw you looking at it. Cool choice to visit a part of the world interesting to see and thank you for your seeing all over the world. Understand how many appreciate your hard work! As I work on my data analytics I travel the world!
Not sure if you have ever been to St. Catherine's Monastery, but it's about a 2 hour drive from where you are. Might be worth looking into. One issue is that visiting hours are from 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning. So you would have to leave very early
How was your experience of arrival at Sharm Airport please ? I ask as the last time I flew into Sharm from the UK 3 years ago, it was a bad experience with very rude intimidating staff, border and security officers.
I've heard it is still very unwelcoming – how was it for you ?
(Enjoy your time in Egypt 😎)
Gabe you look in the mood for your 6 day Egypt excursion, enjoy!
From Craig, UK.
Strange map?
It looks awful. Good luck
You should absolutely try some snorkeling on the coral reefs in Sharm El Sheikh! World class
Pretty cool, never watched a video on Dahab !
I would like so se a video of Saint Catherine Monestary, it's a wery unique place and the mount Sinai as well, the views there is out of this world, so realy recomend that 🤗
Gabe if you ever make it back to Australia and want to visit Manly in Sydney again for a little longer, I have an AirBnB room in my apartment (no charge for you) and would be happy to host you & give you tips on what to see on the Northern Beaches – it's a beautiful area. Easy 20 mins by ferry also, to the city & back.
😅 why you don't have house in grrece ??
lol no comment – smart man 🙂
Enjoy – you're getting us stoked to visit.
Off the beaten path Egypt
Ooh I guessed correctly!
Gabriel have you ever been to Australia?
Please go to Turkey and Italy, not India again.
Wondering if you can tell me do you book one way air ticket from the states when planning your trips, I’m taking it that you do ? I’m researching my 3 months travel through Greece & Malta or a quick trip over to Fethiye next year & would love your input. I’m thinking I should book a oneway from Sydney to Athens & then book return once I know where & when I will return.. Your vlogs are very helpful when planning, thank you for all your travel info. I could even return from Athens, I just don’t know 🤔
The area that is now Israel was controlled by the Romans and they called it Syria Palaestina 135AD. Late 19th Century to 1914, Palestine was then controlled by the Ottoman empire and then the British controlled Palestine from 1922 through 1947. In 1947, Palestinians were composed of 60% Muslim, 32% Jewish and 7% Christian. Jewish leaders organized a government in 1948 and then 5 Arab countries invaded Palestine. A war was fought and the Jews defeated the Arab invaders, except for the West Bank and East Jerusalem controlled by Jordan and the Gaza Strip controlled by Egypt. Many Palestinian refugees fled to Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, the West Bank and Gaza.
Hey Gabriel, I just hiked part of the Camino in Spain and I’m now in Paris. Tomorrow I fly to Romania for a few days. Hit me up in you’re in the Romania area at all and I’ll buy a beer. ! Cheers from a Detroiter.
Have a good time. Chill on the beach! 🥥🥥🍹
Awesome intro!
Lovely Dahab. A bit more built up from when I was there. The houses that have a painting on the outside wall showing Mecca means that the owner of the house went on the Haj to Mecca.
Salut Gabriel ; NO COMMENT !!….Bien vu !….Tout est dit !!
I'm surprised Gabriel doesn't just speak fluid Greek at this point.
I was in Dahab in the late 80s it was a couple of dirt roads and most of the bars were tents!
"Gabe, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore". 🙂 Safe travels in Egypt big fella….
Is that a new shirt that you're wearing in this video, Gabe? I haven't seen that one before.
At 2.23 I’m guessing Egypt
I was in Georgia last month, you should definitely go and do Kyrgyzstan as well
I like Dahab
I like this "Endless summer" vibe 😁
Greece has really become insanely expensive, even Athens ? ! For the weather – I would have rented myself a nice room in an interesting chora, like for instance Anafi island, and stayed for 2 weeks or so. Just for the experience, the adventure 😉
But of course this here looks very relaxed, very nice beach too ! Escaping the situation is of course always an interesting option too ;)))
Come to Kolkata in Durga puja big festival 2026 October 15 come back ❤
😎👍🏻
