Watching from New Zealand. This stuff never fails to shock and appall. Yay, America – give the Pentagon another $200 billion to bomb Iranian schoolgirls but ignore your own homegrown child health crisis. 🙄
America LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Yes, it would be ideal if the counselors had searched the backpack, but that isn’t normally their job. The Admin has to do that. Beyond this, what should a school do? Sure, they are in the business of kids but not in the business of mental interventions. What solutions do people see that schools can enact without any further funding – because funding is decreasing and mandates increasing.
every year the schools get more money and they come up with more excuses with ever increasing terrible results.
If I have children and they ever decide they want a gun, they will not get one until they graduate high school and learn the proper training. I don't care if they turn 18 before then, they will not be allowed to have one. I don't understand why parents are teaching children to use guns at such early ages. I know some people have the mindset that they should learn early, but they need to learn safety and consequences first.
The sad part for conscientious families is…try getting timely mental health help in this country 😢
Then it should be a mandatory requirement for the schools to report to the police for investigation when signs are exhibited
I don't like blaming parents for things like this, but in this specific case the parents are 100% to blame. Failed in every way. Aided him in his behaviour. That's absolutely terrible.
Make sure the kids are seen: some kids express ideas of violence as a catharsis and are less likely to be violent for others violent fantasies are a rehearsal. Giving either kid a gun almost encourages violent enactment.
Giving a life sentence to a kid who might very well be schizophrenic or worse, it’s against human rights. That boy is also a victim, he’s not mentally sound, he was unable to stand trial. He should be in a psychiatric hospital for the criminally insane, not in jail.
IF THE PARENTS AREN’T GOING TO JAIL AFTER I WILL COMPLETELY GIVE UP ON THE JUSTICE SYSTEM.
"…there's nothing wrong with that activity in and of itself"
THAT RIGHT THERE is the problem with the United States
Immunity for government officials causes massive amounts of damage. Zero accountability for these people.
"lol im not mad.u.need to not.get caught" is enough to deserve a death sentence. what a pos.
Parents are 💯 responsible. Put them in jail or make them pay retribution
Ngl the few students they mentioned look like people that would have bullied other people.
they’re so freaking guilty! i am so glad they’re getting held accountable. lock them up!
So… we’re doomed?
Interesting blame parents then blame politicians, govmnt servants, hollywood, MEDIA, reporters, journalists, corp America, social media.. ., i mean s*** here ya have US government ran public schools, their school boards, school administrators etc. selling, marketing, target advertising & brainwashing kids that being gay/transgender is acceptable.
These 2 guys are idiots. The schools are doing all they can. It’s up to the parents.
I remember this day like it was yesterday. I went to school at one of the nearby school districts and my school shutdown. We went into lockdown for almost three hours. Everyone thought it was a joke. This is serious.
Something doesn’t add up.
nothing good comes out of a gun
Too bad we can’t go back on some of these mass shootings and charge some of the parents
Guns are the number one cause of death to children in the USA…pathetic
The child definitely had mental problems, definitely hold parents accountable, why in hell would you buy a child a gun
The parents should have gotten life to
Sickening!!!!! These Murders were a Terror to the Parents, the Siblings and the Students that are Left Behind!!!!!!!
Interesting, I think this applies in this case, but not all of them. I wonder why they don't prosecute the parents of the 14 and 15 year old psychopaths that killed that nice uber eats delivery person in DC, or the disabled man, also DC, that two losers beat to death or that Columbia Univ student or the remedials who ran over that retired Police Chief in Las Vegas etc etc etc…. People say it all the time immediately after these – where are the parents in this?
Keep it going. Honestly, politicians should also be held accountable as well. They’re complacent.
Stop asking schools to raise your kids. The school isn't responsible for his parents refusing/failing to get him appropriate help and then **buying him a gun**. Make parents tangibly responsible, and make it hurt if they don't act. People want schools to be responsible for fixing all these things without giving them the authority or means to do anything about it.
If they hold school shooting parents responsible all parents of any shooting should also be held responsible. Picking and choosing is not how the law should ever work , especially when violating amendments. This is also the same state that has allowed masses of pedophiles too walk free, including an indian doctor found with over 350,000 videos violating patients. Michigan is a hot mess and will only get worse because of who is ru(i)nning it. Those same people changed gun laws without anyone even knowing and its citizens allowed it, very concerning!
It's not the gun that killed anybody. This did not happen 40 years ago. 40 years ago there was no social media and people got along in school with friend groups. Now that they are gone and people are alone as the investigator said this is their only outlet to be seen. None of this will change until the culture changes.
And I love how the parents of the person who committed the crime are guilty but the people who are entrusted with the safety of their own children are blameless.
After learning what kind of parents he had, it makes total sense where his demons come from. They absolutely are responsible and should do way more prison time than a dusty little ten clip.
I think the school is more to blame then the parents.
The school failed. That boy literally begged his math teacher for help. Couldn’t have been any clearer. Counselor failed. Principal failed. They let him go back to class without even checking his bag. They are responsible for those deaths as well. They should be held responsible in some way.
How many times did he have to beg for help?
July 30, 2026. In yet, a different tragic school shooting, Colin Grey (the father) got sentenced today, 15 years. Yesterday the son got life. The Crumbley parents were in a category of their own. Worse than most parents.
And 15 years ago, they talked about metal detectors at every school and whatever happened to that, because that could stop an awful lot, I mean, we get stopped everywhere for security checks. Obviously, schools need security checks. And when they find a gun on a student, the parent should be arrested too. I totally agree that the parents should pay the price They raised the kid, they handed the kid the gun and the story. Unfortunately, it devastates so many people, and I hope that man who's getting 15 years now, unfortunately, will watch his 16-year-old son spend the rest of his life behind bars great life ahead of them.
A sadder story is a Sandy Hook shootings where the Adam Lanza went and killed 17 1st and 2nd graders, and his mom had a gun and obviously was not locked up. He was older, though I believe but he killed his mom before he went to the school so his mental illness. Took care of his mother being responsible that whole situation was horrible.#mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawareness health
Good decision the parents in jail
Tha shoting
Every one of your world leaders want this to happen
Neighbors reported when he was 6 years old the parents left him alone They created this monster. He begged them to stay home
Pretty soon society will be arresting parents when their 21 year ols uses drugs.
