Entertaining, important, good; thanks for sharing your experience.
Honestly, I'm quite disappointed with this video. You came to Romania, a country with an incredibly rich history, culture, traditions and amazing food, yet you spent just a few minutes showcasing Romanian culture and almost the entire rest of the video focusing on Gypsy slums and a self-proclaimed Gypsy king. These communities represent only a small percentage of Romania's population. How is this supposed to represent our country?
What annoys me even more is the constant narrative that they live in these conditions because nobody helps them, Romania and the EU provide no support, and everyone is racist towards them. That's incredibly misleading. There have been numerous government programmes, EU-funded projects, housing initiatives and financial assistance specifically intended to help these communities, including in the very area you visited. Yet the explanation always seems to come back to everyone else being responsible.
The average Romanian isn't rich either. When Romania joined the EU, millions of Romanians moved abroad to work hard, often taking difficult jobs and spending years away from their families to build a better life. Meanwhile, some Gypsy groups used that same freedom of movement to engage in pickpocketing, theft, scams and organised begging instead of honest work. There is also the issue of Gypsy individuals who exploit welfare systems in other European countries, claiming government financial assistance, social housing and child benefits while continuing to engage in illegal activities. This kind of behaviour damages the reputation of millions of ordinary, hardworking Romanians who went abroad simply to earn an honest living.
Poverty doesn't excuse criminal behaviour, and racism cannot be used as an explanation for every problem. At some point, personal responsibility matters too. And seeing the enormous contrast between people living in those terrible conditions and their so-called king enjoying a luxurious mansion and a throne while complaining about insufficient support makes the whole narrative even more frustrating.
It's a shame that you came all the way to Romania and chose to make this the main image of our country. There is so much more to Romania and its people, and your audience deserved a much more representative picture.
This is going to be very interesting comment section.
when are you coming to malta brooo??? i can host you in one of my apartments for free for your stay for you and your crew
Did gypsie king renovate White House
You just got your first complain at CNA. I hope they will take this vid down. The ministry of culture is next on the list and I wont stop there!
Primul videoclip pe care îl face despre România, şi este despre țigani…
Oh, you gotta get to know our Gypsy slums in Slovakia too! There are also majority Gypsy villages.

Good god the finger nails on that lady preparing the chicken necks
hulye roman kocsog kutya ciganyok azthiszik jobbak
That old lady breastfeeding got me 😂. Why her old ass still having babies. No disrespect but that might be why it's over populated. Do they not make rubbers in Romania
Sonny Side I hate this video cuz its so sad. But I also love it cuz you're shedding light on the food and how they're making it work throughout all the hardship. Thank you Sonny for not being afraid to show the dark as well as the light in this cruel cruel world.
I wanna clarify that chicken neck soup isn't a gypsy poverty thing. While it is a tradition born from village life, many well-off Romanian people still make chicken neck soup. It tastes genuinely good, and sucking the meat from the bone is also enjoyable.
their problem is they culturally think like africans
You can take the gypsy out of the trailer but not the trailer out from the gypsy
Gypsies can be found in almost every country, and many people have come into contact with them. Based on my own experience, I can say that they are stupid and lazy, and have no desire to do honest work. People shape their own image—through their behavior and attitudes. So, there’s no need to whine if you’re a lazy piece of shit.
The king you just visited was also visited by Indigo Traveller and they scammed him of 200 euros(do as you wish with this information). It’s very dissapointing to see you coming to Romania, a country of aprox 19 million people and showing the food of a minority which paints Romania in the way it does all across Europe.
It's easy to victimised yourself, fucking people just want to live on benefits given by the government, so many jobs available you just need to apply for one.
Watch your pockets here, there could be gypsy's
Gypsies are from India, not European
They are hated for many reasons, most of them accurate
Bravo coi, faci video despre România si de fapt, arati o minoritate si 3% din ceea ce ofera bucataria romaneasca tradiționala.
